As part of the process of the Earthquake Brace and Bolt (EBB) program that we had been able to qualify for, we had to get a certain number of bids. A few contractors gave bids that seemed to indicate they didn't really want the job, while other companies gave more competitive bids. However, we liked that Green Avenues had already completed other EBB work. There were some scheduling issues with the inspector, which we believe was on the city's part considering the same inspector showed up a week before to inspect electrical work that had not been completed at our home, but the inspection itself went smoothly. All the staff was friendly and professional, and the plumber they brought in to complete some additional projects did a nice job with installing an emergency gas shut off valve, as well as replacing the hoses and attaching a vent for our water heater.
