> I had a very specific for a Mid Century Modern revival home interior and exterior based on the new construction design by our architect. I hired Leah for a two hour consultation. She was worth every penny. She is one of the few IDs I’ve ever met that didn’t feel one-sided or pompous. She is the real deal - skilled, knowledgeable, great design taste, honest, and made very economical recommendations for our budget. She wasn’t afraid to make comments or recommendations that were different from where I was headed on a few things. Once she explained them, they made perfect sense! Leah knows her spaces.

## Community Q&A

**Q: High gloss white kitchen cabinets.... handles or no handles?** *(in Home Decorating)*

I am putting in a total new kitchen in a smallish condo I am buying. The kitchen will be opened up to the dining and living room areas. It will be a fairly long galley shaped kitchen... long peninsula and back wall with upper and lower cupboards (interrupted by a chimney vent with backsplash that goes to ceiling above stove. Sort like this but not as big, and closed against condo wall at far end. 
Backsplash will be black and white. 



Counter, with a waterfall at near end will be a marble - look quartz like this:



The overall décor them of the condo is clean, white with artsy accent colours in décor items, and some global tribal. So in the kitchen the bones will be neutral, and how I stage it will be colourful, and even playful here and there. 
Because the K / DR / LR area is not that large, it occurred to me that perhaps I should not even have handles on the kitchen doors, so I am not chopping things up. However it also occurred to me that high gloss white cabinets might be a magnet for fingerprints, if I have push to open cabinet doors. 

Thoughts? Ideas?
