To begin with, it is important to understand that Scott is both a great architect and a great builder. As an architect, he listens carefully and fully takes on board his client's perspective. He has the soul of an artist, but without any of the temperament or ego that can make working with some architects a bit intimidating. I have had several architects -- friends, family -- visit our house, and they are all amazed by the quality, inventiveness, and incredible level of detail. Inevitably, they will take out their phones to take a picture of how Scott solved some problem or other. Every choice he makes is both practical and attractive. As a builder, Scott is completely transparent on costs, totally organized on every detail of the project, and supported by an absolutely first-rated team of tradesmen.
