Anna Butler Designs is not a one-trick pony! With experience in both Interior Design and Architecture, Anna believes in designing from inside to out, from top to bottom, and everything in between! 

After receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Architecture and Art History at George Washington University, Anna worked at various residential interior design firms in Chicago before she went on to get her Masters of Architecture with a concentration in Ecological Design at The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Upon finishing her Masters, Anna worked at multiple commercial architecture firms in both Milwaukee and Denver. Anna is now happily settled in Chicago with her husband Javonni, a real-estate developer, and their dog Daisy. 

Anna specializes in listening to her clients’ desires and needs while always presenting new ideas, bringing to life perfectly customized designs. Anna loves creating well curated spaces, looking at the bigger picture while still considering all of the little details. She pursues design with intent, striking the perfect balance of simple streamlined design with character and warmth, always aiming to create spaces that evoke an emotional response for those that enter them.

The end result is completely my vision, but significantly better than if I had attempted the design on my own.  Also the contractors appreciate the level of detail in Anna's design plans. She was incredibly responsive and always welcomed our feedback and ideas. Anna has worked on several projects for me but most recently she helped me rehab three bathrooms in my house. All three bathrooms were crumbling and unusable. One was incredibly small and it was impossible to imagine it ever looking nice. Anna came up with amazing solutions for all 3 bathrooms and they are now my favorite rooms in the house. From the tile to the light fixtures to the overall design--she absolutely nailed it.
