We met with Kelly help us look at the project for a different perspective and rather then paint the entire home she suggested painting the existing garage doors, change the color of some of the fascia, add new light fixtures and paint is a few areas which all made an incredible difference. A: I'd say it is dying to have some beautiful wallpaper installed to that wall & I agree that the rug should be wider! **Q: Love this bathroom mirror!! Where is it from?** *(in Photo Questions)* We are in the process of building and I do NOT want a standard mirror in the bathroom....boring!! This one is just beautiful, I was wondering where it was from. A: This mirror was bought from Homesense in Edmonton, Alberta. There stock is always changing but this is my to go place for mirrors as I am usually able to find something there, even if it is not in the right finish, then I would just paint or lacquer it, acording to what I need. Thanks for the inquiry and good luck with your build!! **Q: Need color advice on tile grout in kitchen** *(in Design Dilemma)* I'm putting in a white subway tile back splash as a complement to my silestone tan/white/blue/gray countertops (see photo) I had planned on regular white grout but I keep seeing colored grout w/ subway tiles. I'm wondering -- is this a fad? I kind of like the idea of it to make it look more modern, but don't want it to look dated in a few years. I also don't want it too busy next to the bold counter tops. The cabinets are white. Thoughts??? A: I think that white grout is your best option for a timeless look. Colored grout will give you a grid pattern that will busy the look of your multicolored silestone.
