> I have done two projects with Mark Norlen. First one went great. The second project was a disaster. He took months longer than initially stated. He didn't communicate on the project without massive amounts of followup, the work was not up to the level of what he did before.

> He asked for another draw instead of finishing the project completely. I was extremely hesitant as the work quality was bad and as I tried to discuss issues (I had already paid 13k) he didn't respond. Two winter months went by with no communication and the next thing I know, I got a call from an Idaho Falls lawyer and Mark had not paid his supplier for rocks and wouldn't return calls to supplier. So, to avoid a lien I get to pay the supplier and Mark gets 13k for a few bad days of work done and walks away taking zero responsibility for the project or the suppliers bill.  My landscape project isn't complete, some of the rock that was meant to finish was hauled off by Mark without communication, and Mark is nowhere to be found. Avoid him. He has a talent for landscape but no business sense. It's not worth the risk.

> Norlen Landscaping designed and executed a large, irregularly shaped patio, using stone slabs that they cut to fit in an irregular pattern.  The company also edged about 200 feet of flowerbeds with steel border, bent and curved to give the gardens an interesting form.  In addition, they laid sod where needed at the end of the project.  A natural stone bench was included in the estimate.

**Q: What type of plants did you use in this garden?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I love this ensemble of flowers, the whites, the purple, the greenery.  Could you give a list of the plants used?

A: Thank you, The color scheme changes with the seasons. In this picture it is mid summer.  Nepita 'walkers low' , Leucanthemum 'becky' , Delphinium 'King Arthur', Salvia 'May knight', Peony 'White Cloud', Iris copper, Sedum 'Vera Jameson', Geum 'Queen of orange', Ladys Mantle,  Rudbeckia 'Goldsrum', Monarda didyma, Asiatic Lily, annual fibrous begonia planted along the front edge. shrubs used are Prunus Cistena & Staghorn Sumac. Tree, Skyline Honey Locust.
