**★★★★★ — Michelle Hoffman, July 2025**

> Dan and Constructive Design Inc. were a breath of fresh air in the world of contractors. I live in Deer Park and wanted to give a neighborhood business a chance. Boy, am I glad I did! Dan responded to every text and phone call in a very timely fashion, and no question was left unanswered. We had all our interior and exterior doors replaced; a very difficult bay window rejuvenated; carpet pulled up and oak floors redone; all new crown molding; painting of main living space - a lot of work was done! I constantly get compliments on the workmanship. We plan on updated our new bathroom soon; there’s absolutely no question as to who I will be calling!

**★★★★★ — Steve A, March 2025**

**★★★★★ — Laurie Shulman Derousseau, April 2022**

> Dan and Constructive Design just completed our kitchen and we are thrilled with the results! What I appreciated most was that Dan was extremely detail-oriented and gave us a progress report nearly every day.
>
> Our project wasn't a small task - he needed to replace an original kitchen from the 1950s, bringing many aspects up to code. He took his time to make sure everything was perfect and at the end of the project even secured some new cabinet doors (no extra cost) to replace some small flaws that we never would have seen ourselves. He also flagged that we overpaid him slightly and immediately returned the overage. We will definitely be using him again and would recommend him to anyone in the area.

**Comment from Constructive Design, Inc.:**

> Thank you so much Laurie! We hope you enjoy your new kitchen & it makes your life easier! Thank you guys for being great customers! You made working at your home a pleasure.
>
> We look forward to your next project.

> We recently had our kitchen remodeled by Constructive Design. Danny’s team did a great job. He always came up with great ideas on improving the usefulness of our kitchen area and is a perfectionist in every way! We were extremely satisfied using vendors he suggested and every step was completed in a timely manner. We’ll definitely be using Constructive Design again in the near future!

**Comment from Constructive Design, Inc.:**

> Thank you Betty! We appreciate the kind words and glad our attention to details were noticed. We enjoyed working with you and wish you many happy years to come in your new kitchen. Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review, we know how hectic life can get! If you need anything, just let me know!

**★★★★★ — Jess, Dec. 2020**

> Working with Dan is the best experience you can have with a contractor. He's communicative and you will know exactly where your project is every step of the way. We received pictures and daily updates and were consulted and advised on things as they came up during the project, which they did.
>
> Our project was a huge outbuilding repair. It would have been easier to knock it down and put up a new one but town codes prohibited that option. Enter Dan and his crew to make it work. We had the misfortune of lead paint, it was dealt with quickly and efficiently at a cost, but not a punitive one. Dan's pricing is fair and you can feel confident in the work that will be done.
>
> You will feel like this is a guy who has your back, which of course is a rare thing indeed in the world of contracting. Without hesitation I will be calling on Constructive Design for my future projects.

**Comment from Constructive Design, Inc.:**

> Jessica, Thank you for taking the time in this crazy world we live in today to leave us a review, it's appreciated! I'm always excited to see which things we do that resonates with our customers as we constantly strive to not only do a great job but make it a positive experience as well. Thank you so much for your kind words, this is now one of my favorite reviews we've gotten. Thanks for being a great customer, it makes doing our job so much more enjoyable. Thanks again & have a safe & Happy Holiday Season!

**★★★★★ — James R, Dec. 2019**

> Constructive Design Inc did a fabulous job on our addition. We put an addition on our split level house. We added a master suite, but also put in a brand new kitchen, updated an older bathroom, and added a gas fireplace with brick surround. As part of that, we also added all new siding to the entire house. Dan (the owner) is a great guy, honest, and detail oriented. He keeps you up to date on all progress of the renovations. They stayed on schedule and his subs were very professional. We were very happy with the results of our addition!!

**Comment from Constructive Design, Inc.:**

> Thank you James, we are delighted you're so happy, that was our goal from day one! It was a pleasure getting to know you and your family throughout this project. We wish you and your family a lifetime of happiness and great memories in your newly renovated home!!!

**★★★★★ — Melissa Robinson, Feb. 2019**

> You can not go wrong with Dan and his crew.
> He completed our kitchen, dinette and living room renovation and could not be happier.
> Unlike most places, they always cleaned up after themselves and never let their mess lying around my house which is greatly appreciated.
> I would absolutely use him again for any future projects.
>
> He is always responsive and never felt rushed during our conversations which is really important to me. Do yourself a favor and give Dan at Constructive Design, Inc. a call!

**Comment from Constructive Design, Inc.:**

> Thank you Melissa! We work hard to do the best job possible including the little things like maintaining a clean work environment and communicating with our customers. I'm glad that all came through. I know we're all busy these days, so thank you for taking the time to review us and thanks for the kind words. See you on your next project!

## Community Q&A

**Q: can I see the before picture of the outside of house** *(in Photo Questions)*

Wanting to remodel my split house

A: Here ya go, much easier to attach from my PC. Hope they help!

**Q: Pretty color!** *(in Photo Questions)*

What color is this from Certainteed?

A: Thank you. The color is Spruce.

**Q: Ductless Systems Are a Lot Quieter** *(in Photo Questions)*

A ductless heating and cooling system is set up a lot differently. It actually has an outdoor unit, just like a conventional split-system. Part of the unit sits outdoors, and a refrigerant line leads to the indoor blower units. These units blow air directly into the room or zone they are in. The loudest components are contained outdoors. Thebestminisplit.com

A: Absolutely!
