The first time I worked with Alice Eichner she came into my home and we worked throughout the house changing draperies, updating lighting/ furniture and replacing carpet.  My second project with Alice was larger in scope and involved an update of my kitchen.  I have worked with other designers a couple of times with mixed results so I feel I have a good basis for comparison.  Alice was adept at recognizing and enhancing my style and not imposing style decisions on me that I would have regretted later.  She knew just where to nudge me past my comfort zone to design ideas I love and would never have done without her.  She honed in to my decision making style right away and always presented me with three well thought out and researched options which didn't overwhelm me.  She was always open to my ideas and suggestions and I still love everything we have ever done together.  I always had a clear understanding of costs and time frame and if I went over budget it was due to changes I made through the course of the project.  Working with Alice is a delight I highly recommend.

When we ran into a glitch with an appliance, she jumped on the problem immediately and made sure it was taken care of.
