She took into account our current furniture and artwork and helped us achieve the "young traditional" look we had in mind. She not only has a great eye but really listens to the client which makes working with her a delight. Her attention to all aspects of our project (especially budget) made it stress-free and fun. Recommend her 100%! **★★★★★ — ccm66, May 2015** > Carrie McCall of CKM Home Design is the utmost professional. I have worked with her on various projects. In 2013 she did a gut renovation of both my master bathroom and my powder room. In 2014, she remodeled my kitchen and dining room and decorated my living room and den. Her first meeting includes going over the budget and timeline. She is a good listener and aims to achieve the goals set out at that first meeting. It is very obvious that the workmen she hires respect her and enjoy working with her. She is extremely detail oriented and a perfectionist. I highly recommend her. **★★★★★ — seeemore1, May 2015** > Hired to remodel family room. Gutted room. New electric, drywall etc. went away on vacation and returned to find room done and completely decorated with new furniture and accents. Magazine worthy! ## Selected projects - [New Custom Home: 48 Hawthorne Place Summit, NJ](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/new-custom-home-48-hawthorne-place-summit-nj-pj-vj~1134679) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 19 - [100 Year Old Charmer](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/100-year-old-charmer-pj-vj~1084529) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 10 - [Cape Re-design](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/cape-re-design-pj-vj~1084559) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 4 - [Woodland Park Contemporary Colonial](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/woodland-park-contemporary-colonial-pj-vj~1084572) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 3 - [Color in the Suburbs](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/color-in-the-suburbs-pj-vj~2682801) - Location: Summit, NJ - Photos: 7 - [Chatham Colonial](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/chatham-colonial-pj-vj~1720320) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 3 - [NYC Apartment: One NY Plaza](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/nyc-apartment-one-ny-plaza-pj-vj~1977506) - Location: New York, NY - Photos: 9 - [Commercial Office Space](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/commercial-office-space-pj-vj~1977449) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 3 - [Metallic Cork Powder Room](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/metallic-cork-powder-room-pj-vj~1650387) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 1 - [Bold and Beautiful Dining Room](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/bold-and-beautiful-dining-room-pj-vj~1650056) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 3 - Description: Bold bohemian wallpaper acts as the art in the room. Source?** *(in Photo Questions)* A: Murals.com **Q: The etagere are beautiful. Where can I find them?** *(in Photo Questions)* A: They were bought at Restoration Hardware. Thank you for your question and for liking CKM Home Design. **Q: Need help! Does it go or stay?** *(in Design Dilemma)* We bought new furniture for our great room. In the old set there was a small leather recliner. The new set arrived while I was at work and when I came home, the other items were gone, except for the leather rocker. My wife claims the leather rocker goes with the other pieces in the set. I disagree and would like to relocate the recliner. Your thoughts? A: Sorry the recliner has to go! --- *Source: Houzz professional profile. Reflects the profile as of 2026-10-08.*
