Hello, how many BTUs is this unit?

A: Good afternoon, Katey,

On the low setting, the BTU output is 2059 BTUs.And, on high the BTU output

is 5118 BTUs.

Recently bought the house, redoing the floors with the tile on the left. I would like to redo the fireplace but not sure what to do. I feel like the room is very dark so Im looking to brighten the room.

These models should be installed into a bump out wall.

is this safe to mount directly to studs and drywall or does it require some kind of barrier?  thanks

This fireplace is designed to be recessed into a non-combustible surround. The most common installation is a wall (typically bumped out) made of concrete backer board then faced with the stone, ceramic tile, etc. of your choice.

This is an electric fireplace that produces a faux flame. It is offered with crystals (as seen), pebbles or logs as decorative media.
