**★★★★★ — Ian Adamson, Jan. 2017**

> Brad Tomacek and his studio (we worked extensively with Brian Martin) exceeded our expectations. This is hard to do as we are perecetionists with very high standards.
>
> Brian, Brad and company were extremely responsive and flexible with our very hands on approach to design.

**★★★★★ — swimmrboy, Sept. 2015**

> I hired Tomecek Studio to help design my unique home in the foothills of Boulder,CO.
> I discovered the firm while investigating architects in the Denver area who had experience with pre-fab building, which was one of my desires. On their site I saw a stylish container home and I was intrigued. I had only peripherally considered containers, but after I saw that project I was sold, on the idea and the firm.
>
> I sat down with Brad and we discussed my needs and wants and also the potential pitfalls of building a container home. He visited the site with me and helped to find the best site for the home. After several design ideas, we came up with a plan for a functional, stylish and energy-efficiant home that definitely more than met my needs and wants.
>
> I also greatly appreciate all the "hand-holding" during the somewhat cumbersome process of navigating the Boulder County bureaucracy during that home building process. It was indispensable.
>
> Just after I moved in, I found a note on my door from a gentleman visiting Boulder who made a special trip up to the house to check it out, because he liked it so much. He had been following its construction progress on the Tomecek Studio website. Can't get a better compliment I'd say!

> We hired Tomecek Studio Architecture to design our modern detached, two-story workshop, gym, and storage out-building. Brad and Kevin took our concept drawings to a different level of refinement. We loved the initial design, but after several cost estimate iterations with prospective builders, we had to downsize a bit and remove some of the cool architectural design features, such as a rain screen fin wall along external stairs. In the end this iterative and very collaborative process got us to a design that is within our budget and will meet our high expectations. The only thing that could have been better is if we the initial design had been more affordable from the start, but we are excited to move forward with construction of this design in a few months

> We wanted to hire Tomecek Studio Architecture from the moment we came across their work on-line. To be working with them is exactly as we expected. Efficient, respectful, creative, smart, caring, fun, collaborative, and skilled in their craft. Our project has been a challenge. Firstly, we (owners) were in a critical time-crunch. Secondly, we were mandated by the City of Boulder, Colorado to build a "farm-house" on a parcel of annexed land. We have always wanted a modern dwelling. How to marry the two? Our one-of-a-kind property sits adjacent to open space and screams for perfection in details and overall feel. With the expedited help of Tomecek Studio Architecture, and their holistic approach to all aspects of the project, we have captured a design that fits the elements of what the City is seeking; while staying true to our goals and aesthetic taste. Our design plans are in place (on schedule!) It is a matter of time before we can parlay this beautiful work into a Colorado Home that stands apart, yet fits so magnificently in it's location.

**★★★★★ — andrewmcmullin, Feb. 2014**

> Brad and his crew are focused, professional, involved, and well connected. But above all, they have an artistic flair that will put your house above others when it comes to design and style. As a buidling contractor I have worked with many architects. I chose Tomecek Studio to design my own house because I could trust that I would be getting high quality design and attention.

**★★★★★ — karenandbranden, Feb. 2014**

> Brad Tomecek designed our dream vacation home- out of shipping containers! Brad and his team listened to our ideas and offered their expertise on how to implement our desires. Our project is nearing completion and we are thrilled with the layout, the optimized use of space in the containers and Brad's suggested building site. Our project needed a forward thinker- someone unafraid to tackle the unusual- We made the right decision hiring Tomecek Studio.

**★★★★★ — ksbloom, Feb. 2014**

> We hired Brad Tomecek and colleagues to design a house for us; Brad was the lead architect, however. He was fantastic to work with. First, he visited our home in another state to see what we like and wanted. He took extensive notes, asked many questions, and focused on trying to get to know our life styles. Armed with that information and his superlative professional knowledge, he proposed a design that ultimately evolved into the house in which we are presently living. Brad was intimately involved in interviewing building contractors-as we both knew the importance of having an architect and contractor who could speak the same language and work well together. Brad was very detail oriented and focused on providing recommendations not only for building materials, but also decorative products-all of which worked well with the design of the house. He was very accurate in budget projections and worked well with our building contractor in helping to select materials that helped keep us in the projected budget range.
> Happily, there have been no issues with the house-either from the design aspect or the construction. Brad is extremely professional: he always returned phone calls in a timely manner; he never trivialized our questions; he gave us lots of options to consider and provided his opinion when asked; he consulted with other disciplines when necessary. He is also fun to be with. The whole process was most enjoyable from start to finish-and we remain friends. We could not recommend him more highly.
