I have never dealt with such a rude and unprofessional owner: First warning is that they require cash only and you pay upfront; so a customer has no means to inspect the work first:. The first instance of deceit and dishonesty was that the installers broke the countertop; they flat out lied and said it was not finished: They took over a week to replace the broken counter and did not offer any reimbursement for there errors: The so called installers were the most rude and incompetent installers in the industry. The installers were a direct reflection of the incompetent owner: When the replacement counter was finally finished they arrived at the house unannounced with an unconfirmed appointment . They wanted to cut the countertop on sight which causes immense dust and dirt on our home:. They would not give us time to put plastic protection on our property and they got upset and left: When we finally had a confirmed rescheduled appointment we got charged an additional $300 reschedule fee. Total rip-off. Then when the incompetent installers came back they were rude; cut the top on sight and made a dirt and dust disaster. They just left the mess and in addition ruined my personal trash container with their construction materials. I was a victim of consumer fraud; don’t become the next naive customer. **★ — HU-522229576, April 2022** > I have never encountered a business owner that was so unprofessional with his lies, idle threats, and holding on to a my deposit that he has no right too. I went to the company for an estimate back in January. They required a deposit even before coming out to measure (huge red flag:::biggest mistake of mine for ever giving them a deposit of $2900). They came out to measure. The revised estimate was way more then I estimated by roughly $1000. We couldn’t agree on the revised measurements. So between back and forth of talking; I decided to not do the job at all. He threatened me with a mechanic lien. Which doesn’t not apply…good scare tactic. He was refusing to give me back my deposit! After of a couple of wks of hounding him for my deposit; he tried to tell me was going to deduct outrageous charges from my deposit. I just wanted my deposit back and run far away from him and this business. I was done of waiting around, being polite and hoping he would do the right thing and give me back my money. He was dragging his feet on giving me my deposit then his crazy fees. So I ended up taking him to court in March and won my judgement. Clearly he had no right to hold or keep my deposit of 2900$. Its been over a month since i won my judgement. He has made no attempt to pay me my money. I txted him and he said he would send the a check. I still never received a check and now he’s not responding to my messages. Please learn from my mistakes. When I finally called in the afternoon to see what time they would be there the next day, they said they didn’t know and would call me back. Never did of course. 3: they called the MORNING OF INSTALL (a Wednesday) to say that the materials weren’t ready and they would have to postpone until Monday. 4: the person who does the measure and install is very condescending. He talks to you as though you’re uneducated and he’s much smarter than you are. 5: there is such poor communication between the office and measures/installers. We were told very rudely when they came to measure that we needed a specific sink. Why would the office not let us know that when we scheduled the measure? Terrible experience. Our template/install worker is one of the kindest and professional workers around. He simply wanted to get the job done without any room for error. This guy will schedule a time to be at your house for the install and keep stringing you along the whole day and then his crew never shows up. I wasted 2 vacation days waiting for him then he threatened me with refunding my money when I complained. His installers said that he lies to all his customers about when the install will happen. The first thing the installers said to us when they arrived was what lies did the owner tell you. The owner claims this is stand practice and all granite companies operate like this and if I didn’t like it I could go somewhere else he didn’t need my measly 5000 dollars. The problem was my kitchen was half apart or I would have definitely went elsewhere. Don’t make the same mistake I did.
