Jim and his staff spent at least 40+ hours on the phone with me, answering all my questions about their frames, their process, and their approach - all before I signed any agreement with them. I never visited them or one of their homes, never met them in person, never called previous clients - I just knew from our discussions they weren't going to sell me a home and leave me hanging. Over the 2 years I spent building my dream house, they answered every call, every email, and every question without hesitation, and always with a note of encouragement and support. 4 years later, I'd do it again in a heartbeat, and they'd be the first people I'd call to get started. The quality and fit of the Frame and SIP panels was key in the success of this project. Everyone at Vermont Frames was courteous and very helpful. Jim, Chris and everyone else there never got tired of answering all my questions. I researched a lot of Timber Framers closer to me and VF offered the most comprehensive solution with the least amount of unnecessary drama. I hired one of Jim’s Field Technicians (Jake) to lead my local framers and in four days the frame was up. Jake was one of the hardest workers I had on the job site. He took charge of the raising from the first minute he was there. The precut SIP’s took another week and were easily installed without the need for Jake.
