> Four years ago, we had our basement finished and wanted heated tile installed in my wife's sewing room. Jason Hamilton, owner of Hamilton Tile, LLC, did the installation. Everything about his work was outstanding! He is professional, polite, and competent. Jason's installation has been a wonderful blessing to my wife for the past 4 years. Recently, the thermostat for the system quit working, so I reached out to Jason for help. In spite of his incredibly busy schedule, Jason responded literally within 5 minutes of my original call. That is first class customer service! I explained the problem, he reviewed options with me, and within a few days, he made time in his schedule to install a new WiFi-connected thermostat for us. Every step of the way, Jason went above and beyond, and we could not be happier with his work. He has earned my highest recommendation. If you need tile work done, go with the best, Jason and Hamilton Tile, LLC!

> Jason and Ben did a wonderful job building us a new bathroom. We couldn't be happpier!
> Just 5 years ago our bathroom was completely gutted and redone due to a leaky shower pan. Just recently we discovered that the shower was leaking again resulting in 2 rotten floor joist. We were very disappointed that we had to have the bathroom completely redone again in such a short time.
> We are so thankful that we found Hamilton Tile. Both Jason and Ben are very professional and Jason's tile work is impeccable. The bathroom looks great and we know we won't have to experience another leaky shower again.
> Thanks guys!

> Jason and Ben were a delight to work with. They listened to what we wanted, gave relevant advice (including how to care for our new tiles), and clearly communicated each step of our shower & bath replacement. They were diligent in not creating a mess outside the bathroom, and totally cleaned up the debris and dust from inside the work area. We recommend them highly, and would use them again, if we needed additional tile work. Listen to what they tell you, they know what they’re doing!

> Hamilton Tile did a great job on our new bathroom and brick wall. They were very precise in their work and always provided timely responses to any questions we had. We would definitely hire them again.

> Thank you guys so much! You did an amazing job and helped us out in a bind. It was a great experience from start to finish. If your looking for quality these are your guys.

> Ben was awesome. His work was great and always cleaned up better than me. Was on time and very professional.

**★★★★★ — rstaelen, Oct. 2017**

> From the first discussion over the phone we felt they understood the project needs, so we trusted and felt confident we didn't need to seek other bids. Our project was replacing a backsplash in our kitchen. We felt they took their time to ensure every detail was handled correctly, consistently asking if we were satisfied. Cleaned up each day, as if they were never there. Respectful, professional, and affordable. I don't place my name on a review if I don't believe in it, so would hire them again if needed.

**Comment from Hamilton Tile, LLC - Woodstock, GA:**

> Rob, Thanks so much for this great review. It was a pleasure working for you and you have a very nice family.

**★★★★★ — Kyle Mayhew, Aug. 2017**

> We have used Hamilton Tile for two projects:
> 1\) basement - we had porcelain tiles (that look like wood planks) laid throughout the main basement area + a bathroom with tile floor and tub/shower (Feb 2016)
> 2\) master bathroom – new shower, main floor, toilet and a few accessories (July 2017)
>
> The end results for both look amazing and we had a great experience working with Jason Hamilton. The master bath was an unexpected renovation due to the shower leaking into the kitchen ceiling below it. Since we had worked with Hamilton Tile previously when we finished our basement, I called Jason and asked if he would take a look. Jason helped us evaluate the situation, understand potential issues happening under the shower and our options to fix it. He also explained the Schluter shower system (google it) and its benefits. After removing the old shower tile and subfloor, we found a considerable amount of water damage. Jason and Ben were able to replace the damaged wood and reinforce the entire floor joist. In addition to the new shower, we decided to remove the tub and re-tile the entire bathroom floor.
>
> Looking back on the experience, here’s what I appreciate about working with Jason and Ben: 1) professional manner 2) took time to explain the process and answer our questions 3) helped us design the layout and determine what style/color best fit the space and our tastes 4) always left the work area clean each day and 5) most importantly...attention to detail.
>
> I would highly recommend Hamilton Tile for any remodel or new project. They know their craft well.

**★★★★★ — Steve Gillam, July 2017**

> We have used Jason Hamilton of Hamilton Tile, LLC to redesign and update 3 different bathrooms in our house. Nothing speaks more highly than using the same company over-and-over-and-over again. We were initially introduced to Jason in 2016 and he immediately established a level of professionalism and attentiveness that is often hard to find. He recently completed our last bathroom update in July 2017. During each project he showed consistency in the amount of time and effort spent during the upfront planning process to provide alternative ideas and suggestions that helped us land on a design and style that met our requirements, as well as, our budget. The installation was done with great care and Jason takes the proper time to ensure that the installation is done correctly. I strongly endorse Hamilton Tile, LLC and I highly recommend them to remodel any size / complexity of bathroom.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Which wood look floor tiles to install?** *(in Flooring)*

looking to install wood look floor tiles. first off, anyone heard of emser or atlas concorde. I borrowed samples from those tile companies at the local tile shop. i’m just not sure how reliable or reputable they are. i did some search on the forum, and nothing turned up.
the emser tiles i was looking at ix 6x24”, and atlas concorde is 7.5x40”. Is there a difference between the two sizes, is smaller better or is bigger better?
I plan to get white cabinets painted in the kitchen, bathroom, laundry and hallway. the house itself is not very well lit. it doesn’t have much natural lights. so i’m trying to decide which color wood look tiles to go with. I plan to repaint the walls base on the tile color I get.

A: I second everything he's saying.

**Q: Tile work AM I BEING TOO PICKY?!?!** *(in Other)*

Please help me, I've never had tile installed before so I maybe making a fuss over nothing. Some of the cuts on my subway tile aren't even, I'm using black grout and am concerned once grouted its going to be even more prominent. Also I'm having marble installed and when they started they pulled from one box so there's a dark spot should I ask them to fix or am I being TOO PICKY. Thanks for your thoughts!

A: According to ANSI (American National Standards Institute) you are supposed to have a silicone sealant in the corners, not grout.

**Q: Kitchen backsplash...help me decide! Subway or glass?** *(in Polls)*

Which do you like best, the subway tile or the glass? I'm trying to decide between the 2 samples! I like both styles. I want a look that will last your years. Thoughts or suggestions? PLEASE

A: Don't forget about the added cost of glass tile installation. Much more of a technical installation and ANSI and NTCA standards need to be followed.
