Hello!  We moved into this home four months ago and would like to do some updates in the kitchen.  Part of me would love to completely renovate it but it doesn't seem very practical when the cabinets are beautiful and great quality.  Looking for ideas on updates (backsplash, lighting, counters etc) but also want to be thoughtful about appliances and placement.  I don't love the corner cooktop...I also would love a bigger island and to rip out the peninsula but again, would require a lot more money and work and wondering if that is worth it.  We plan to be in this house for 15 years but know that eventually, the kitchen will need to be updated to get the most value out of the home.
