It has been a stressful and long process. The contractor is great, but really doesn't offer help with any design questions we have. We struggled with agreeing on a lot of features. But we ran across a photo of a kitchen on Houzz we both loved, but the contractor told us he needed "the specs." We contacted Tina Rodda, the designer of the beloved kitchen photo. It was a custom design she had to recreate to meet our measurements, but she also provided us with her thoughts on the rest of the kitchen layout and design. Tina offered us input we would have never considered or thought of, and we asked her to redesign the rest of our kitchen. We consulted with her on the design of our pantry, dining room, laundry room and the fireplace and TV areas of our living room. Tina made practical recommendations that transformed these areas into elevated living spaces that were smart and beautiful. We are so grateful. She also made recommendations to our contractor that he had not considered, which gave us peace of mind we were getting what we wanted. She understands not only design, but construction, budgets and can make recommendations on fixtures, paint colors, appliances and other components that are absolutely beautiful. She located in Maine, and we live in North Florida, ...with a couple of easy Zoom calls, Tina helped us make better decisions on a home we love!
