We talked to a few contractors and went with Beverly Builders because we had a great first impression of Elron and Lawrence, our main point of contact for the project. They was the only one who offered to talk to us in-person rather than over a quick phone call. > Very detailed-oriented, honest, and always quick to respond to our questions and concerns. > Elron and Lawrence helped us to design our 1200 sq. ft ADU, and it was a quick and easy process. The longest part was getting the approval from the city to start building the ADU. Once we got the green light in October , Beverly Builders Group were able to complete the whole project in about 5 months, which was pretty amazing in my opinion! > This project has been mostly smooth sailing. There were a few hiccups here and there, but mostly due to and the city inspector , so they had no control over those matters. I also appreciate the hard work that Jose, Joey and their crews put into the project. We interviewed six general contractors prior to making our selection, asking nearly every question we could think of to ensure we made the right choice. From the very first meeting, we knew Elron and his company was the right fit for us. Whereas each of the other 5 candidates gave various (sometimes opposing) solutions for the soffit in our kitchen, Elron was the first to get his hands dirty to find out what was feasible and cost-effective. He was a straight-shooter, set proper expectations and followed through during the entirety of our project. His subcontractors were all top notch and worked hard to ensure we were happy with the final product. Our entire kitchen remodel took 5 weeks from start to finish (including Christmas and New Years).
