> The folks at Roxburgh did a great job for us.  They helped us early in the process when working with our builder and helped us finalize the documents needed in a professional manner.  I would recommend them.

> Positives:
> -We love our new home. It really is beautiful.
> -The Builder was VERY friendly and we appreciate their work!
> -The Design Team actually sent the wrong paint color to the Builder. Because of this mix up, the Seller included a new Fridge for us to avoid re painting the home again. We appreciated that the Sellers were willing to compensate us for the mix up.

> Negatives:
> -Our Landscaping is still not done. We have been told that in the next few months we’ll be contacted to have this completed. However, we’d appreciate a better schedule or anticipated date of completion. The yard was left so messy… bricks & trash everywhere.
> -The Seller had a Preferred Lender – this was very frustrating because we wanted to use a specific Lender. Per the Purchase Contract; ‘Seller shall give a stainless steel upgrade to use the preferred lender. The seller agrees to pay all the costs and interest involved if the buyer takes out the construction loan’. Their incentive to have us use their Preferred Lender was annoying – and hopefully in the future this will be illegal. We decided to use the Lender we wanted, regardless of their ‘incentive’.
> -The Seller has a Preferred Title Company. I would have preferred to shop around and find a Title company that I trusted – however that was not something we could do because our contract stated the following: ‘ALL closings shall go thru Northern Title’. Again….  I feel this should be illegal. My husband and I should have the right to pick our Title Company.
> -More realistic deadline. The building process took 40 days longer than we were initially told.
> -More communication regarding weekly progress/updates – we received very little information on progress. We would have appreciated more pictures and details.

> Overall, we wish the process was smoother & more positive… but the outcome was wonderful. We appreciate the builder and everyone who worked on our home.
