Barker O'Donoghue was founded by Kieran O'Donoghue and Crispin Barker in 2000. 

We are experienced builders who work closely with some of the Bay Area's best architects to produce highly detailed, custom homes for our clients, as well as with national firms to create extremely unique commercial interiors, most recently for the headquarters of San Francisco's biggest gaming company.

Barker O'Donoghue is also host to the Cabin Fever design competition, launched in 2012, for which invited architects have the chance to design both a site-specific "DNA Cabin", as well as a transitional housing prototype.  Visit our website blog to follow along!

> Barker O'Donoghue completed a large-scale home addition and remodel for us in 2011-2012.  We were impressed by Kieran O'Donoghue's straight-forward manner, design sense and excellent communication skills from the start.  His onsite team members were courteous and showed up on time each day.  The quality of the work was excellent, and the project stayed within our agreed upon budget.  Kieran was also very good about making sure that we were 100% satisfied with his company's work and re-worked a couple of things during the job (at his expense) because they didn't look perfect.  We have recommended Kieran and Barker O'Donoghue to our family and friends.  5 stars!
