He was able to completely update our house while keeping the original charm that made us buy it in the first place. He was also able to expand the overall square footage while keeping it in scale with the rest of the neighborhood. Although the original house was charming and had character, it desperately was in need of an update. After working with another architect for a year, we were feeling that no one would “get” what we were looking for in our new home. We spoke to Dennis briefly about our frustration and he sketched an idea for our house on a piece of scrap paper. He got it! He was able to take our ideas and create a new home that had an amazing flow and feel. Although he was located in Santa Cruz, he was able to work with our builder, the City of Mill Valley (no easy feat!), and us to design our dream home.
