**Q: light green tree name** *(in Photo Questions)*

what is the tree in the circle

A: The tree is Acer saccharum 'Green Mountain', a sugar maple

I live in MA, and I would love to have something like this.  Is it possible to somehow list the tree types starting with the top left corner (probably a Green Giant or Leyland Cypress) and working down the photo?  Also, what spacing was used between each tree.  Some of them looked staggered

A: Thanks for your question!  This project used many large speciman trees and we did our best to provide the common names for the trees in the photo. The spacing is difficult to determine, but at the time of planting many of the evergreen trees were in the 18' to 20' height range.  Here is the list:  Douglas Fir, Golden Hinoki Cypress, Blue Atlas Cedar, Norway Spruce, Weeping Alaska Cedar, Amelanchier Autumn Brilliance, Green Mountain Sugar Maple.

A: Thanks for your question! The stone used on this project is Liberty Hill Granite.

A: Hello - thanks for your kind comment and question!  This fireplace and wall stone is mostly local granite and and ledge stone from the site that was custom cut by our crew to closely match the original old stone used to build the pavilion.  The steps are custom cut monolithic Rockport Granite.

A: Hello - The tall shrubs are Ilex crenata 'Steeds' (Steeds Japanese Holly) and the shrubs planted in front are Spirea bumalda 'Anthony Waterer' (Anthony Waterer Spirea).  I hope you find this helpful!

There are a variety of grasses at this site including the following: Karl Foerster Feather Reed Grass, Prairie Sky switchgrass, Rotstrahlbusch switchgrass, Cloud Nine Switchgrass, Hamelin Fountain Grass, White Flowering Fountain Grass, Oriental Fountain Grass and Little Bluestem
