She immediately made an impact on the design and layout of the house, even though the architectural plans were already done. Karla has a keen and creative eye, always keeping in mind the aesthetic we were looking for as well as respecting our intentions for the house and design. Knowing what I know now, I would have brought her on board earlier! She made the whole process so much easier and ultimately saved us time and money with her pre-planning. Karla was instrumental in every design aspect, from the lighting layouts and choices, bathroom and kitchen design, tile and hard surface design and all the finishing touches including furnishing the entire house. She achieved my vision of "comfortable, lived in neutral home" by layering colours and textures throughout. Of course, this was all done on a strict budget and short timelines that I gave her! Our home was featured on the cover of "Style at Home" profiling Karla and her amazing work.
