> Doug is a true craftsman…his work exceeds expectations. The 1510 project included cabinet work and furniture design & execution. We’d recommend him for any/ all projects.

**★★★★★ — Marty Hosking, Aug. 2019**

> Great listener to needs, great design, quality work, ability to work effectively with other vendors (electric and plumbing) in the project, fair pricing and high quality materials. Also willing to do the extras joyfully! I have and will continue to recommend Doug!

**★★★★★ — Brian Wetjen, Nov. 2017**

> Doug is an exceptional craftsman and does outstanding work. He's also a very fine human being. You should hire him, because you'll be pleased with his work and how nice it is to work with him.

**★★★★★ — Susan Marchese, Nov. 2017**

> Doug Kiser design and construct company was very easy to work with. They don't take on more than they can handle and their deadline was right on. His sub contractors show up, get the work done and move onto the next job. I couldn't be happier with our project and remodel. Everyone talks about what a nightmare it is to remodel, we had a GREAT experience and the next major remodel will also be done by D Kiser. Highly recommend D Kiser.

**★★★★★ — Cheryl Dyer, Nov. 2017**

> Very professional, highly skilled and creative. Doug has a wonderful eye for design and was a pleasure to work with.

**★★★★★ — Liz Fortina, Nov. 2017**

> We have lived through many remodeling projects, and working with Doug was by far the best experience we've had. He is easy to work with, listens to what the customer wants and has great ideas to make the project unique and not cookie cutter. He was on time and on budget and was there to oversee the subcontractors. This is an outstanding company that I have recommended to many friends.

**★★★★★ — Judy Hoch, Nov. 2017**

> Very professional. Doug’s ideas and design work were creative! He took an ugly ‘70’s bed and bath that wasn’t functioning and created a master suite that’s gorgeous. Perfection on the craftsmanship.

**★★★★★ — leahdawn25, Jan. 2016**

> When we purchased our 1971 house in Bellevue I had a "vision" of the type of update to be done. I had seen some of Doug's previous work on some of our close friends' houses and knew he was the guy! It was SEAMLESS from start to finish! It was so nice to work with BOTH designer and contractor. Doug is a one stop shop and makes the process as easy as it can be! I never felt out of the loop or like my ideas were not taken seriously. He incorporated all of my ideas and then put a FABULOUS spin on them! A true artist and one of the nicest of guys! We will have Doug back to do MANY more updates on our eclectic ranch.

**★★★★★ — KimRandy Dickhut, Dec. 2015**

> Doug is a true craftsman and designer. He was the contractor and co-designer on a whole house remodel. Because of his architecture and interior design training, Doug is able to visualize the space differently than a standard contractor. He is environmentally conscious with materials and design. When designing, Doug thinks outside the box, but is also willing to modify designs as needed. It is a true partnership, when working with Doug. To be honest, there was no need to modify his designs because they were exactly what we were looking for in our remodel. We would definitely hire Doug for any future projects.

**★★★★★ — rachjacobson1, Dec. 2015**

> Doug created some built-in cabinets & shelves for our family room. He did a beautiful job. He listened to our needs and came back with a lovely design, including suggestions for materials. Everything was on-time and on-budget. We were and still are very pleased with his work.

**★★★★★ — sarahabackhaus, Nov. 2015**

> I would highly recommend working with Doug Kiser! Doug is a true talent whose gifted when it comes to all things design. He is thoughtful, detail-oriented and a perfectionist when it comes to his work. It's important to him to always do the right thing and he's very good at coming with solutions that are functional and aesthetically pleasing.
>
> Doug is talented in both design and construction which really shows in the finished product. He is also a talented carpenter who builds cabinetry and furniture!
>
> Doug is a good communicator, humble and an all around good guy who always has his clients best interest at heart.
>
> We choose Doug for our bathroom & kitchen projects because of his modern aesthetic and are so pleased with the final outcome!

**★★★★★ — maaske, Nov. 2015**

> Doug was a pleasure to work with. He designed and built cabinets for our kitchen, mud room, and master suite when we built our house. He and his team had great attention to detail and provided valuable and creative design solutions for our project.
>
> Since completing our project we've had Doug come back and assist us with some cabinetry accessories and have experienced the same 5 star service.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Who makes the lights?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Are the lights two different finshes?

A: I believe the lights came from cedar and moss. They are black and brass

**Q: Wall mounted breakfast bar for small kitchen** *(in Photo Questions)*

Looking for a solution to a small kitchen that cannot house a table and chairs but could have an interesting wall mounted breakfast bar
Colour Theme is White cabinets wooden work tops and wood parquet flooring

A: Hi @HU-909819705, Let us know if we can be of any assistance. Thanks for looking.

**Q: is this vanity available without a sink in 48 in** *(in Photo Questions)*

I do not need the sink but love the line of the vanity

A: Hi @coleshiel1979
This is a custom vanity. It is available in any size you like. If you are in or near Omaha, NE, we can make you one!

**Q: Was the mahogany structure and other woodwork stained?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Please share the finishes used on the mahogany. Thank you.

A: Hi @merlgirl1,
Thanks for the question. The finish on the mahogany is Danish Oil. There is no stain. The slats are solid mahogany and the beam wraps are veneered, so they appear a bit lighter in color.

**Q: Incredible! what diameter are the mirrors?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I'm trying to get a sense of proportion in designing our new master bathroom. Do you know the diameter of the mirrors? Thanks in advance.

A: Hi @marknimmer
The mirrors were bought, and supplied by the designer on this project. I thought they were from West Elm, but can't find them online. I'm going to guess they were about 30" in diameter.
Thanks for looking!

**Q: omg, that medicine chest!** *(in Photo Questions)*

Please, love the medicine chest/shallow storage treatment-custom build?

A: @thebluestones
Thank you! Yes it was a custom build.
