It was a big order but they didn't care. They had their money and weren't going to do anything. I HIGHLY UNRECOMMEND CABICO. I was put in touch with Paul Lamore of Lamore Associates who helped with my request and the replacement latches were promptly shipped to me at no charge. I was amazed! I don’t recall when I’ve experienced better customer service. My Cabico cabinets were delivered last week. My kitchen designer was thoughtful enough to order a new door sample as hers was an older one. The quality of the new stain was awful. She contacted Cabico's president, and we were assured that the quality would be just as good as those on the original door. They were, but there are other problems. Some of the cabinet doors don't meet. The cabinets with drawers do not line up. Some of the drawer fronts are different sizes. Two of the cabinets I ordered with inserts are completely wrong. The cabinets cost $18,000 so far. I expected more for what I paid. My kitchen designer is coming to my house tomorrow to look at the cabinets in person. I am hoping that Cabico will fix all of my problems, but I am writing this review now to caution - buyer beware of this company if you are starting a kitchen remodel. December 2018 is the latest date I could choose as a completion date, but obviously my kitchen will not be finished by the end of the year, and I have no idea when it will be. I have attached four photos, which was all that the site would allow, and I hope the ones that I have selected adequately show some of the issues that I have. We went with their top of the line Elmwood series. Nearly every single one of the pieces we received had a problem. Some were the wrong size. Some had incorrect cut-outs for appliances. The finish on others was poor. The rest were damaged in shipping. Now, nearly 4 weeks later, we still don't have answers from Cabico about the replacement pieces. This is, simply put, the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Definitely not what I expected from a company that promotes it's "flawless quality control" and "high quality." It looks like the wood laminate has came apart in that area. I asked Cabico to replace that cabinet. Their response: send the defective part to them and they will replace it.
