In addition to providing me drawings Cindy provided me several samples of wood so I could experience both their texture and various finishes. While I knew the approximate dimensions of the table that I wanted and the fact that I wanted it to have a "farmhouse feel" and a drop-down leaf, how to accomplish that and all of the details needed to be figured out. Cindy was amazing at talking through everything, giving me lots of options for design, types of wood, kinds of finish and overall function of the table. Most of all, though, Cindy was great at really listening to me to gain an understanding of what I wanted and what kinds of things I like (including coming to my house to get a feel for my taste!)
