The finished counters are magnificent and the attention to small details is amazing. **★ — HU-89649995, Sept. 2019** > Unbelievably dreadful. 2 projects, each $15,000+ in less than 1 year. Both kitchen and bath were horrific experiences. Robert Stone believes abusive language toward the customer appropriate. Robert made massive mistakes and rather than admit his skills were sub-standard, he blamed the glue, the tiler, the concrete guys and the home owner rather than admit fault. Robert Stone installed 5 panels in my shower. NOT one piece was properly cut or installed. 1)The stone was cut straight on the bottom despite Robert knowing there was the required drain pan slope which meant a nearly 1 " gap between stone and floor. 2) The central cut for the shower handle was off-center which required fill material so the gaps wouldn't show around the shower handle plate. 3) No piece was level vertically or horizontally. 4) The two butt edges didn't butt up. 5) Robert Stone had to be banned from the property due to abusive behavior and language toward the homeowner. 6) An outside carpenter had to be brought in to babysit the removal, re-install, and to teach the Stone people how to properly measure/cut/level. 7) Robert Stone, Inc claimed the panels couldn't be installed properly without a "drawing", despite them spending 1/2 a day taking measurements. 8) A stone sink cut and glued by Robert Stone leaked, badly. Robert called it a "glue failure". It was, because he failed to properly utilize glue. Then the owner, Robert, also came to our house to check over things, make recommendations, etc. Today, Dino and his crew (9 people!) came to install a VERY large island! They took their time, in talking thru the process of how best to bring the material in. And then made sure the installation was flawless! The entire crew was friendly, professional and you can tell take great pride in their work. While I don't plan on needing countertops for a long time- I highly recommend using this company!!!
