The fence was just perfect and it has enhanced the privacy of our backyard. The work crew of approximately 5 people installed the fence in a day with a double gate. The crew also boxed the fence around the trunk of a very large tree as not to injure it in any way. The crew was polite, efficient and meticulous in their detail to make sure the fence was installed properly. The quality of the vinyl fencing used was a much higher quality and a much better price than the other four estimates I received. I was very pleased with Mid-Atlantic Deck and Fence. This is the second time in 10 years that I used this company. The first was for the installation of a white vinyl picket fence in the front of my house along the road. Due to the cost, I filed a claim with my insurance company. Mid-Atlantic was prompt in their response and went to my residence and measured the fence. The employee contacted me regarding the measurement and my insurance companys decision. The insurance company had not assessed the damage and were arriving the following week. The employee insisted he should be there during the assessment. I told the employee that was not nescessary because he already measured the fence, I just needed an estimate. > The following week the employee arrived to my residence before the insurance company arrived and proceeded to measure the fence again. The insurance adjustor arrived and the employee bullied their way into the conversation, handed over their business card, and asked the adjustor for their business card and claim number. The employee obtained the information and left. Mid-Atlantic sumitted their estimate which was $4,000 less than the other estimates I received. (I'm not complaining about the price, but how Mid-Atlantic conducts their business. I should be the one to choose who I want to do the job, not the contractor.) Obviously, the insurance company liked the low price and cut me a check; however, I have a high deductible and I never received a call from Mid-Atlantic. I even went to their main office to look at other options and I was told I would receive a call, and yet again, nothing. He walked me through while he did a thorough inspection and answered all of my questions. He provided me a detailed proposal.
