I worked with both Jason and Reed on the design, and both were very responsive, professional, easy to work with and open to my ideas and thoughts on the project. We xeriscaped a lot of different areas and planted some new plants. The new plants have thrived in the Summer heat and look great. All the members of the crew that completed the work were very friendly and willing to answer any and all my questions during the project. They were efficient and completed the work much quicker than I expected. I am very happy with the finished product and would highly recommend them to others. **★ — Brittani, May 2024** > We initially contacted Austin Native to help landscape our backyard. We were flexible on specifics but our top two objectives were to extend the patio and remedy minor drainage issues. They were responsive, sent over a nice proposal and worked quickly to finish our project. Since install, we have had two average rain storms that nearly flooded our house - we only avoided serious water damage by buying emergency sump pumps and physically pushing the water away with a broom. After the first storm I contacted Austin Native with videos and pictures and asked for guidance on how to fix it. It took 2.5 weeks and multiple follow ups from me to get someone to take a look. I was then promised a proposal within a few days and it’s now been a week without reply. We got estimates from some other companies who confirmed the way Austin Native installed our landscaping was 100% counter to optimal drainage. We now need to pay nearly 1/3 of what we paid Austin Native to have another contractor fix the issue. Throughout the entire installation, the crew was very respectful of the neighborhood, making sure they were not blocking the mailboxes or driveways. For example, one sub-contractor installed two patios with a really interesting finish that look great!! Graded out the yard to fix a drainage problem that was causing standing water/mosquito problem. Thorough understanding of plants; where they should be planted; how to take care of them.
