Our mission is to create innovative architecture, interior design, lighting and design objects that are works of art. With a studio approach, we combine the disciplines of fine art and architecture and seek surprising, poetic, emotional and beautiful experiences. And we love to collaborate with passionate and visionary clients. 

A+A Studio is an award-winning multidisciplinary design practice founded by principles Aaron Yassin and Armand Graham. Aaron is an artist and Armand an architect, and our practice combines our skills to craft new solutions ignited by our unique creative collaboration. We love to design and approach each project with a fresh eye, drawing on our extensive knowledge and first-hand experience of the history of architecture and art. We use new technologies but also focus on the hand made, and have worked in wood and metal shops ourselves and with artisans for years. 

Our projects range from new homes to custom residential and commercial interiors, as well as lighting fixtures, other design objects, and custom fabrication. We’ve worked on many projects in New York City and internationally in many countries in Europe, the Persian Gulf and Asia. This extensive experience has given us a deep knowledge of diverse design practices as well as construction trades and techniques. Our work has received multiple design awards and has been widely published, including in The New York Times, Wallpaper, The Washingtonian, Lighting Magazine, DesignBoom, Bustler, and The Star Ledger among others. 

We believe good design starts with understanding the goals of our clients. Your needs are critical! On our initial call we will discuss your project and the services you require. Next, we will do a preliminary project assessment that will result in three design phase pricing options. You decide what works best, and there’s never an obligation to continue.

The lobby A + A designed is a dynamic, innovative, inviting space that makes the building glow from the inside out.  The units are designed with efficiency without losing the architectural integrity. Aaron and Armand took a solid design and floor plans and elevated the building to an architectural jewel.
