> I cannot say enough positive words about Greer and Associates. I moved in 2010 to a new house requiring considerable work to prepare it for our family. Our architect recommended Greer and we went with them for a variety of reasons. The decision was a gift that kept on giving. Our big remodel had many moving parts and involved moving quickly to get work done before we moved in. New walls, new windows, cabinetry, bathroom counters, work requiring coordination with electricians & painters, railings and, of course, the much hated punch-list. Cailen, Mark, Mike and others who worked at the house did absolutely excellent work. They coordinated extremely well with our architect, Whitney Morrill, and gave careful thought to issues that balanced design and structure. They asked (and respected) my opinion on important decisions. Everyone was timely, efficient and pleasant and the quality of their work has stood the test of time over the past five years. I recall a specific incident where we had a natural gas leak related to our dryer resulting in a subtle, strange smell. The city people came out to test but couldn't detect the problem or identify its source. One of the Greer guys (Mark) identified and fixed the leak. (Thank goodness.) I have occasionally called Greer for additional work in the years since we initially contracted Greer for work on our house. They have an impressive collective memory of some of the odd details about our house and have been just as wonderful recently as in our initial transaction. They are easy to schedule, do their work on time and keep to their cost estimates. I'm a fan!
