We didn't know how to fix them without taking them down and reinstalling them. > Marc came up with a game plan and our cabinets look fantastic now. > They are professional, reasonably priced and a pleasure to work with. > We would confidentiality recommend them to anyone needing a finisher. **★★★★★ — louisesmithmccoll, Nov. 2022** > After seeing updated trim in our powder and laundry reno, we decided that we would like the whole main floor to look as good. But we also decided it was too big a job for us to take on alone. So I went looking. I stumbled on The Finisher’s Touch while scanning the internet. I read everything I could about the company and their work and after seeing several pics of previous jobs and sparkling reviews I reached out. I was interested because they are a small family business, which happens to be my favourite kind of business to deal with because they just seem to have more “skin in the game.” I met up with Marc the next day and we discussed the scope of work. I was more than impressed by him. Thrilled to find out they paint the trim once before installation and ecstatic to find out their services could include a second coat once installed if I so chose. I had many questions, and Marc patiently listened and answered them all. I had a very reasonable quote within a couple of days, and we started the next week > Marc’s brother Carl arrived at my door at the appointed time and was just as well spoken and polite as his brother. Again, another good listener as we reviewed the scope of work. He was a pleasure to have around for four days and I found him to be organized, efficient, courteous, punctual and exceptionally tidy. I was very impressed with Carl’s skill and attention to detail, and he gave us some advice on upgrading some air duct grates which we appreciated and had him do as well. He always took the time to answer, with a smile, any questions that came up. > Marc brought some supplies by and made a point of coming to find me to check in and see that we were happy with what was going on. It was another nice touch that made us feel listened to and heard and valued as a client. > The main floor and upper landing of our home is now finished. In less than a week! It would have taken us months to do it ourselves and it would never have looked as awesome as it does! Just a wonderful job! > Carl tidied up everything including the garage that he cut in and did not leave without ensuring we were happy. > My only regret is that I did not know that they also provide painting services. I knew they painted their installed trim but I did not know they also do full room painting. I had already booked a painter for two days after they finished or I would have gladly had them do that job too. Unfortunately the painter I hired would not get a review like this one! And next time I need one it will be The Finishers Touch! > And since they are carpenters, their skill set is much wider than I realized when I hired them. They are much more than simply great finishers. All in all…..a great company to work with. I can’t say enough about Marc and Carl. From beginning to end, it was a fabulous experience and I would hire them again, or recommend them highly in a heartbeat. Moving forward, they will be my go-to company. So impressed! > Thanks Marc and Carl for a job well done! **★★★★★ — MYCA FARMS, Oct. 2022** > Great work, easy to communicate with Mark and his brother! They were fast and efficient and completed the work right on time. **★★★★★ — HU-535051382, Oct. 2022** > We asked The Finishers Touch to design, build and install an exterior living space for our back entrance. We were quite happy with the result! They managed to move up the start date and everything was finished before the old date. Marc shared his vision of the finished project and was open to any and all changes or options. They were fast and friendly. There is a peace of mind you get when you can hand off a big worry to professionals! **★★★★★ — Bryce and Elsie Sawatzky, Oct. 2022** > We had Mark redo all wood work upstairs...closet doors...lreplace all doors and all baseboards. Beautiful work and flawless. Mark also finished trim around downstairs fireplace.. excellent work Mark. I would highly recommend him for any carpentry work. Keep up the good work ... **★★★★★ — Lynn Tripp, Oct. 2022** > We have had finishers touch to our home 3 times in the past 5 years and they always do an outstanding job. Excellent workmanship and I would highly recommend. **★★★★★ — Thanh Luu, Oct. 2022** > We are so happy with the work that they did for us. We needed a customed built ramp for mobility issues and they listened to all our needs and built a ramp that was both functional as well as appealing. We would definitely recommend them to all of our friends and family. **★★★★★ — Mike Harrington, Oct. 2022** > I’ve used finishers touch for many home improvement projects over the last few years and have found Marc to be a very professional, honest and hard working individual with an eye for detail and pride in his work. His quotes are very reasonable and I’ve never encountered any after quote expenses or up charges. He will continue to be my tradesman of choice and is highly recommend. **★★★★★ — Steve Slater, Oct. 2022** > A big shout out to Carl and Mark for their excellent trim finishing work in our home. Our house was built to a fairly basic standard of quality and looked it. After the " Finishers Touch" brothers worked their magic, its fresh, contemporary, and has a high end look and feel. What a difference some baseboard and window trim can make! > Great work guys! > Cheers Steve Slater ## Selected projects - [Stairwell Wainscoting](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/stairwell-wainscoting-pj-vj~7033786) - Location: Coquitlam, BC - Photos: 10 - Description: Our client came was looking to list their house on the market and requested that "wow factor" when potential buyers entered their home.
