We spent 30-60 days trying to find a general contractor who would help us execute our vision for this space. After interviewing four contractors we were so fortunate to meet Don Christensen and his son David. They are a family business with a strong track record of accomplishing challenging projects. Being on the 5th floor of an old building with limited space in the elevator to move materials and equipment was a logistical challenge. More importantly the limited work hours and restrictive work rules imposed by the Condo Owners Association were entirely anticipated by Don and his subcontractors and crew. They were very respectful of the other unit owners during the entire project. Christensen Contractors was completely transparent identifying all of their costs with each billing with regular schedule updates. Don's staff were excellent craftsmen with attention to detail and the subcontractors they work with share the same passion for quality work.
