The room is smaller than the the unit a originally viewed. Will this queensize bed fit comfortably? A: Yes, if it was a foot less I would be worried but with those dimensions your should be fine. **Q: What do I put over this sideboard in my foyer? Art? Mirror?** *(in Home Decorating)* This just isn't looking good to me. The sideboard stays but the mirrors can go. What should I put over the sideboard? Should I do wallpaper behind whatever I put up? I want an entry with a bit of a wow factor. :) I know that the sideboard needs accessories too but not sure what to put there. Will also get a runner once I figure out what to do with the wall. A: I would go with a piece of art to bring in color to the space. Putting lamps on either side can add a symmetry that is pleasing to the eye. **Q: Lamp Suggestions** *(in Design Dilemma)* Suggestions on entry table lamp. Does the one in the picture look okay? A: The style of the lamp works but I would go with a taller version. **Q: Desperately need Help with paint color** *(in Paint)* Painters are coming in 48 hours and I don’t have a clue what color to paint the walls and trim in my small family room. The only thing in the room is a new dove grey couch. Image attached. Any design or paint advice for walls and trim is appreciated. I want the room to be warm, cozy and tranquil. HELP A: It is difficult to say without seeing the room. But since the couch is a cool toned grey I would go with other cool colors such as blue, green, or lavender **Q: Awkward Corner Space** *(in Design Dilemma)* I have had a really hard time figuring out what to do with this space. Knocking the wall down (or this spot) is not an option at the moment. Do I use pillows, plants, something completely different? Thank you so much for any help or inspirations you may have! A: I agree that adding a cushion and pillows would make for an adorable reading nook. If that's not your style it could be You could also add some storage if you add some corner shelving. **Q: What size kitchen table should I get? Please help!** *(in Furniture)* I'm getting a custom kitchen table made and not sure what size to get. I have a relatively small, awkward space between the kitchen and the family room. We currently have a temporary table that is 30" wide and 72" long. I've included pictures to try and show our space. Below are some other measurements that I thought may be useful. island to couch- 9.5 ft refrigerator to couch- 7ft Wall (blue arrow) to fridge- 11.5 ft Fridge to basement door (red arrow)- 2.5 ft Island- 39 inches A: You have a lot of right angles in the space, I would recommend a circular table to break this up. It will also be easier to go around when moving from one area to the next.
