## About

### Houzz Badges

- 5 Ideabook Saves

Spruced Up provides property beautification services in Toronto with a focus on the East End. We provide a consultation to talk about your property and your lifestyle in order for us to design and implement a outdoor space that meets your needs. This can be a refresh of an original garden design or something brand new.

Spruced Up knows how hard it is to find a company that provides great ideas, great service and the experience to help make a property look beautiful on a budget. We live in the East end as well and know you’ve got limited space to accommodate kids, pets, entertaining and storage while maintaining a great looking outdoor space. We want to help you with that.

As we’ve grown, we bring a team that is passionate about our environment and our city. We design and encourage responsible gardening with native plants with a focus on fostering Butterfly and Bee habitats. Whether you want to look at, smell or eat your plants, we want you to be proud of your property.

**★ — Andy R, July 2020**

> Would not recommend for a larger job. Contracted Eric and his team for a larger job (~20K) last year to install parking pad at the pack, redo pathway at the front back and side of the house and landscaping work. Was advised the job should be completed in 1 month. Took over 6 months to complete! And concrete estimate went up 4x the original quote. This delayed other part of the renovation and caused major headaches. Concrete subcontractor insisted to be paid in cash and refused to put anything in writing. Would say they would come on certain days and would go weeks without hearing from the concrete guy. Constant struggle with scheduling and timing.
>
> 3-4 months after work was finally done the concrete parking pad started crumbling (and has only gotten worse) and multiple quality issues were noticed with pathway. Contacted Eric to advise of the issues. Has been 7 months of back and forth, they are asking me to pay an additional $1,500 for work they never completed before addressing deficiencies.
>
> They might be good for smaller jobs but do yourself a favour and hire a more reputable company that will stand behind their work for larger jobs.
