> We engaged Reed to add a small addition to our house. They did everything -- permits, foundation, framing, roofing, gutters, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, tile, paint, wood floors, & other finish work.

> On the positive side, Jeremy was very responsive - even on weekends, nights, etc. We had a weekly touch base to talk about the project. Jeff is great; he really wants to make sure he and the team delivers and wants to make sure the customer is happy. The folks directly employed by Reed (Gintus, Mike, Hector, & James) are good at what they do. The walls are plumb and the framing is solid - overall, quality work. For our project, the painters, roofers, and electrician were all good. They did what they were supposed to within reasonable expectations and didn't fail inspections.

> A few small areas for improvement (only reason why it's not 5 stars).... The project took 2.5x as long as originally estimated and the costs ran over by ~17%. The foundation subcontractor delayed the start of the project by almost 4 weeks. The HVAC subcontractor was awful and just didn’t show most times. They could have been on top of the sub-contractors’ work more. There were potential issues (which were caught & fixed) with plumbing & electrical going to the wrong places, doors swinging the wrong way, wood floor vents that weren't inset into  the floors, etc. The plumber tended to argue with us about where things should go, though his work always passed inspection.
