## About

You have been imagining this for a long time. A home that finally feels like you. Beautiful, calm, and built around the life you actually want to live. I am Linsey Dunn, a licensed Bay Area architect with over a decade of experience, and my job is to make that vision real while protecting your investment, guiding you through every decision, and designing something so timeless and well-crafted that it only gets better with the years.

I work with Bay Area homeowners who are ready to stop tolerating a house that does not work for their life. Some come to me with land and a dream, ready to build a custom home from the ground up. Others have a house they love the location of but have outgrown so completely that a full transformation is the most honest answer. And many simply have a home full of potential that has never quite been realized. Whatever your starting point, the destination is the same: a home that nourishes your life, reflects who you are, and brings you genuine joy every single day.

What makes me different

You work directly with me, always. I run a deliberately small practice and take on a limited number of projects at a time so every client has my genuine attention. Every conversation, every decision, every detail is handled personally by me from first conversation to final detail. No handoffs, no being passed to someone junior. The relationship you begin is the one that sees your project through.

I protect your investment. A beautiful home should also be a smart one. I will always present your options clearly, explain the financial implications of every major decision, and never recommend something that does not make sense for your budget and your future. You will always know exactly what you are committing to before you commit to anything. No surprises.

I understand how buildings actually get built. Having worked across a high-end architecture firm, a general contractor, and a design-build practice, I know how decisions made on paper become realities on a job site. I know where projects go wrong, where budgets quietly inflate, and how to protect you from both. That knowledge is rare and it directly benefits every client I work with.

I make the process feel manageable. Architecture, permitting, budgets, decisions. None of it should feel overwhelming. My job is to guide you clearly through every step, explain your options in plain language, and make sure you always feel informed and confident. I founded the ARE Study Guide Podcast, downloade
