**★★★★★ — Ann Marie Baatz, Jan. 2020**

> Stephanie did an outstanding job designing the remodel for our bathroom. She presented a number of options to choose from and we are so happy with the results, We had a very small master bath and a wasted open area. With Stephanie's design we have a larger bathroom and a walk-in closet. The transformation is just amazing!!. The vendors were great, deadlines and budgets were met.

**Comment from Interior Planning Collective:**

> It was great working with such wonderful, receptive clients! This dated bathroom and closet were not functional and had lots of wasted space. We provided a much larger shower, new vanity with double sinks and beautiful built-in for storage and display. The space is totally unrecognizable and now provides beauty and function. The project was truly a joy and my reward was the happy smiles from the homeowner!!

**★★★★★ — Valerie Grace, June 2026**

> Stephanie was our designer for a primary bath upgrade seven years ago, and most recently, a kitchen remodel. Throughout the entire process her expertise was invaluable. She was up for the task as our kitchen shape and size proved challenging. Her design options were purposeful and aesthetically pleasing. We got quite the education as we observed her careful attention to every detail.
> Stephanie demonstrated her many years of experience and vast knowledge of kitchen design as she guided us through the process of choosing cabinets, countertops, flooring, etc..
> Communication with Stephanie was effortless since she was available by text, phone, and email. She was always professional and friendly. Her admirable work ethic and her desire to create a kitchen we would enjoy was evident in the time she spent with us from initial meeting to completion of project.
> We highly recommend Stephanie for any kitchen or bath design.

**★★★★★ — Lisbeth Smith, July 2025**

> Our family has lived in the same home for 25 years. When we moved in, it was essentially the same as when it was built in 1967. Fast forward to 2025, our master bathroom was literally crumbling around us. Additionally, the kitchen was separated from the family room, and both rooms were dim and outdated. Lacking experience with significant remodeling and feeling intimidated, we consulted with several contractors. However, we just weren’t comfortable moving forward because we couldn’t visualize their recommendations and didn’t have a clear understanding of the overall cost. That is why we are so grateful for Stephanie. She listened to us, suggested alternatives, and created wonderful plans for the bathroom and kitchen, removing the wall between the kitchen and family room and enlarging the master bathroom shower. She helped us choose the materials, assisted us in finding a reputable contractor, and was there to consult and guide us throughout the entire process. The results were better than we could have imagined. Her designs made the kitchen and bathroom bright, open, airy, functional, and comfortable, and she always had our backs, ensuring that the result would increase our property value. She delivered results on time and within budget. She has our highest recommendation.

**★★★★★ — Matthew Stansbury, Aug. 2023**

> Stephanie did an incredible job on her design, we could not be happier with the end result. We were planning a full kitchen remodel at our home in Danville, CA which included removing a load bearing wall, adding a wine cellar and changing how we exited into the backyard from the main living area. Her depth of knowledge was vast which ensured we did not design anything we would regret later on (e.g., how much space is too much/little from island to stove). We worked very closely with her throughout the design process (several iterations) and welcomed her thoughts the entire way. If we could go back and start over, we would 100% hire Interior Planning Collective. We have not broken ground yet but we could not wait to give credit where credit is due.

**Comment from Interior Planning Collective:**

> Thank you Matthew & Christina! It was truly a pleasure working with you to create a space that is not only beautiful but functional as well! As the project unfolded, I had the opportunity to develop many unique and interesting spaces that included a wine cellar to accommodate your enviable wine collection as well as your enjoyment of entertaining both indoors and outdoors. I can't wait to see the finished project!

**★★★★★ — Patricia Miller, Dec. 2022**

> Stephanie is joy to work with. She is on top of every detail and pays attention to the calendar and order of various aspects of the project. We did not live close to our project so had to schedule appointments weeks apart. She monitored every piece of the various jobs while we weren't on site and her relationships with the vendors gave us confidence we were making good choices and kept things moving smoothly given the supply chain issues at the time.
>
> We are very pleased with the finished product and happy in our remodeled home.

**★★★★★ — Renee Olsen, June 2020**

> We needed an imaginative yet practical plan to reorganize and modernize the cramped and boxy living areas of our home. Stephanie’s design transformed the kitchen, living room, dining areas and entry hall into visually connected, light-filled spaces that perfectly suit the way we live. We had special concerns related to aging in place; she knew exactly how tailor the design to our needs. She efficiently arranged replacements for a cabinet damaged in transit and a reimbursement due from the appliance vendor. She also introduced us to a wonderful contractor with decades of experience who treated our home as if it were his own. Stephanie is creative, organized and professional; we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.

**Comment from Interior Planning Collective:**

> This was a huge transformation that allowed for more efficiency, openness, storage and light. The Olsen's were great to work with and open to suggestions . The result is both pleasing and classic and should provide years of usefulness and enjoyment.

**★★★★★ — dnjhansen, May 2020**

> Stephanie did a fantastic job of listening to our wants and needs and incorporating them into a beautiful, cohesive design. She was able to give us an incredible master bath that was functional, spacious and gave us more storage space than we could have imagined. She made the process of moving from concept to coordination with the contractors to final product seamless.

**Comment from Interior Planning Collective:**

> It was a pleasure working with the Hansen's. We were able to provide a 2 person shower with bench by relocating the door to the water closet and walk in closet and removing the tub. Adding a new vanity with a storage tower and additional drawers allowed for all the storage they wanted. The radiant heated floors made this a true "spa" experience!

**★★★★★ — HU-210972777, March 2020**

> Stephanie helped us with the remodel of our kitchen and master bath. We absolutely love the results! Stephanie was professional and responsive. The end result was much better than what we would have done on our own. Her advice and expertise helped guide us to use our budget in the best ways possible. She helped us find very high quality materials and connected us to excellent contractors. Her plans gave us a way to easily communicate what we needed to each contractor as well. We would definitely recommend Interior Planning Collective for any home remodel project.

**Comment from Interior Planning Collective:**

> Thanks Taylor and Joe! It was a pleasure working with you on this project and allowing me to share my ideas and resources to achieve the results you were hoping for.

**★★★★★ — David Schams, April 2019**

> My wife and I wanted to update and expand our old kitchen but did not have a lot of room to work with, so we were limited to only a few options. We did have some ideas on the layout but just couldn't visualize it well enough to be sure that's what we wanted.
>
> We hired Stephanie and she presented us with a few different layouts that really helped us decide on the best solution. She also did a great job of reorganizing the counter space and appliance positions to best support a family that does a lot of cooking. The end result is a very functional open and bright space that can accommodate guests around the counter as we cook.
>
> This was our first remodel, so a bit scary at first, but with the support of a professional designer, the job was much easier to manage and less stressful. The project was well organized, with quality and detailed plans for the contractors to work with. I would definitely recommend Stephanie, she did a great job.

**Comment from Interior Planning Collective:**

> There were several challenges in creating a design plan that would work within their existing space. I wanted to relocate the range and create more work space on each side and add cabinets for utensils, spices oils and vinegar's that would be easily accessible while cooking. By angling the peninsula I was able to add cabinets and enlarge the countertop and breakfast bar. I located the microwave in the peninsula to
> provide more counter space and easy access from the fig. The new flow from the sink,
> frig and range not only increased the functionality but defined the various work zones that allows for multiple tasks to be performed at the same time.
> By moving the slider down we were able to add a window and open up the view the to beautiful yard! This project looks good, feels good and checked all the boxes on the homeowner's "wish list"!
> Thank you so much for the opportunity to work with you!

**★★★★★ — Noel Crider, March 2019**

> My goodness! I don't know how I lived without Stephanie in my life! I have spun my wheels for so long, browsing around Houzz, trying to figure out how to remodel my kitchen. So as it turns out, I am not a Kitchen Designer! Who knew! So why would I know how to design my own kitchen??!! Stephanie's profile popped out because she had opened up a wall between kitchen and living area for a previous client. So I took the plunge and contacted her. I haven't regretted one moment. She is not only professional and extremely skilled, but just a pleasure to hang out with!
>
> To begin, Stephanie started by browsing through my IdeaBooks on Houzz to see what my tastes are. When it came time for decisions, she brought me one or two (maybe three) choices, which were all aligned my taste! Limiting the decision making was HUGE for me!
>
> Stephanie designed and then created the drawings for everything, from kitchen layout to lighting to plumbing, advised on counters and tile, interviewed contractors, contacted suppliers, scheduled meetings and ordered products. She then produced an amazing BINDER for the contractor and every tradesperson to reference as the job progresses.
>
> So now you know, we haven't even started yet and I'm already singing her glory! Tomorrow is the big day that my 1989 oak kitchen with beige 4" tile and brown grout will disappear forever! It has served its time, but it no longer "sparks joy!" I have thanked it and said good-bye FOREVER!
>
> We will follow up with photos, before and after, so you can witness the magic of Stephanie! I am so glad I contacted Stephanie Greaney, and you will be too. :-)

**Comment from Interior Planning Collective:**

> Thank you so much for your high praises! It was truly an pleasure working with you and I'm so excited to see the completed project! It is always my goal to work closely with my clients to find a way to give them what they want by encouraging their participation in the design process. By acquainting my clients with the options that fit their expectations, we can mutually agree on the final design, products and finishes. Because I become part of the "project team", this collective approach results in a positive interaction with contractors and suppliers while implementing the project design process.

**★★★★★ — Marc, Aug. 2018**

> Stephanie helped us transform our kitchen in a way that we had not envisioned as we embarced on the project. And everyone (including us) thinks it is stunning. Our remodel would have been a really nice face lift without her...it is a showstopper with her design input. From concept to finishes, we really valued her design aesthetic. We also appreciated her ability to orchestrate a talented team of professionals to help with our project. Suppliers and contractors knew Stephanie and provided great service as a result. As with any job, there were a couple of hiccups along the way, and they were handled directly and with kindness. We know we have a trusted pro to turn to for our future design and construction needs.

**★★★★★ — Josie, March 2018**

> I would highly recommend Stephanie. She is a very talented designer and extremely knowledgeable.
> My experience with Stephanie exceeded my expectations. Her attention and detail is second to none. She goes above and beyond and is always very prompt in responding to any questions or concerns. Stephanie made my whole experience painless and stress free. So happy with the results. Thank you Stephanie!

**Comment from Interior Planning Collective:**

> Thank you Josie! It was truly a pleasure working with you and so happy you're pleased with the results.

**★★★★★ — Sherrie Weis, Nov. 2017**

> It was a pleasure to work with Stephanie and her recommended contractors on the renovation and addition to our home, She is knowledgeable, professional, detail oriented and creative. She designed a dream kitchen and master suite for us. Her help in selecting materials such tile, fixtures, flooring and counter tops relieved a lot of stress. She explained the pros and cons of each selection. She listened to our wants and needs and incorporated them into the prefect floor plan that was both functional and beautiful. She brought the project in at cost, on time and exceeded our expectations. We were delighted this the results!

**★★★★★ — Laura Kolberg, Oct. 2017**

> It was a pleasure working with Stephanie on our master bathroom remodel. She created a design well within the parameters of our budget and existing floor plan. She ran the project up until construction, and advocated for us with various vendors and the contractor. I wouldn't have been able to complete the project without her design, management, and expertise. I recommend her and would work with her again!

**★★★★★ — drpm52, July 2017**

> We used Stephanie for remodeling of our entire house.
> She made the process very easy and she could really bring our vision to life. We highly recommend her.

**★★★★ — Shawna Lombardi, Oct. 2016**

> Stephanie did a wonderful job designing my kitchen and family room. She helped me pick out tile, countertops, flooring, cabinets and so much more. Stephanie expertise helped me get the kitchen of my dreams!

**★★★★ — Erin Novi, Sept. 2016**

> Stephanie is an extremely professional, knowledgable designer. She was very involved in our project from start to finish. She had great design ideas and was very accommodating to our needs and desires. We will retain her services again for future projects.

**★★★★★ — HU-825360, Aug. 2016**

> Stephanie Greaney took over the interior design of our garage conversion to a cottage. We had hired an architect who was next to useless for creating a livable space for visiting family and guests. The Building, HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing contractors were all able to use Stephanie's plan to accomplish their jobs. With her cabinetry design in particular we ended up with more storage than we could have imagined. Her help in selecting materials such as flooring and tiles and fixtures relieved us of a lot of stress. She is very creative and has an excellent eye for color and style compatibility. We would definitely hire her again.

**★★★★★ — Ginni Jannicelli, Aug. 2016**

> I have known Ms Greaney for over 20 years. I highly recommend her. I have found Ms Greaney to be detail oriented, extremely organized, able to work in every decor style, and very easy to work with. She has helped me on several occasions, and was able to help me decide what I wanted, within my budget, with her insight into my personal style.

**Comment from Interior Planning Collective:**

> Sometimes working for "friends" can be challenging. I am always careful to listen and not overwhelm my clients with my own personal design preferences. The Jannicelli's were receptive to my suggestions and participated in each phase of the decision making process. We were all delighted with the results!

**★★★★★ — Patricia Barron, Aug. 2016**

> Wow! She is awesome. I am still getting rave reviews on remodeled kitchen, bath and master suite. I am now working with her to remodel my den. She listened to my ideas and gave me advice that proved beneficial to the over all design. She is dependable always following through. She has a marvelous color sense. I would have never picked the color of my bedroom but now I love it. Enjoy working with her.

**Comment from Interior Planning Collective:**

> I have worked with Pat and her husband on several projects over the years and consider their wanting my continued involvement an honor and huge compliment.

**★★★★★ — Jason McBride, Aug. 2016**

> We hired Stephanie to assist us with a kitchen remodel in our new Home. We were very pleased with Stephanie and her design expertise. She provided us with multiple design concepts that aligned with our ultimate vision. We were also pleased with being able to see our project drawn out as opposed to having to visualize the final. Stephanie helped us from the start up through the changing details of the project to the final finishing touches. We highly recomend her services for your next project.

**Comment from Interior Planning Collective:**

> This was a fun but challenging project. To create an open plan we had to take down the wall separating the kitchen from the family room and then design the space so it flowed between the 2 spaces without it seeming to be all kitchen. The McBride's were great to work with and I'm delighted they are happy with my contributions and the final result!

With over 25 years of experience and certification from the National Kitchen and Bath Association, I've dedicated my career to creating beautiful, functional spaces for both kitchens and baths. My goal is always to meet my clients' aesthetic and functional needs.

**Do you specialize in a particular design style or kind (modern, contemporary, luxury)?**
While I don't specialize in just one particular design style, I am skilled at working with a wide range of aesthetics. My approach is to understand your personal style and preferences, then translate that into a unique and functional design. I'm able to work in every decor style to bring your vision to life.

**Do you provide full-service design or design-only plans?**
I offer comprehensive design services, guiding you through the entire process. This includes creating detailed plans, assisting with material and fixture selections, and collaborating closely with contractors. My aim is to make your remodel as stress-free as possible, managing the project from concept to construction.

**Do you create optimized layouts for small or challenging spaces?**
Absolutely! I excel at optimizing layouts for small or challenging spaces. I've successfully transformed small master baths into larger, more functional areas with walk-in closets, and reorganized kitchens with limited room to maximize counter space and appliance positions. My goal is always to create a functional and beautiful space, no matter the size.

**Do you assist with cabinetry and fixture selection?**
Yes, I provide extensive assistance with cabinetry and fixture selection. I help clients choose the best options for their space, considering both aesthetics and functionality. My expertise includes cabinetry design for maximum storage and advising on various fixtures to ensure they align with your overall design vision.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Shelving** *(in Photo Questions)*

Really like the shelving units, not so much the desk

A: We can have the shelves built whatever depth works best.

**Q: Look of the shelving** *(in Photo Questions)*

Not crazy about the look - reminds me of vertical ship lap, too traditional

A: It was the layout I wanted you to consider. We can have it made to our specifications

**Q: Desk** *(in Photo Questions)*

Don't like the desk facing the wall

A: I thought the color concept was something to consider. I was drawn to the contrast of the wood desk/table with the painted cabinets. The desk can be positioned perpendicular to the wall.

**Q: Quartz or Dekton/Neolith?** *(in Kitchens)*

I know all about the wonders of quartz countertops but I'm interested in learning more about Dekton (I believe Neolith is the same) My big criteria for a countertop are strength, heat resistance and looks. Anyone recently have Dekton installed?
I'm considering it for both kitchen and baths.

A: I'd like to find out more about the edge detail options. I read something about a seam at the edge which make me think it isn't a good candidate for laminated edge?

**Q: What color are those cabinets?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: I'm working on a project and need wall to wall mirrors w/storage. Love this look and the center storage. Do the side mirrors have hidden storage? Where can I find this?
