### Reviews

**★★★★★ — Kurt Zaugg, Nov. 2025**

> We have been selling Bertch for over 3 years. We have been very satisfied with the whole company from ordering, lead times, product selection, colors, and finishes. The few issues that there have occurred have been resolved and taken care of by Bertch.

**★★★★★ — Miguel P, April 2025**

> Bertch offers three lines of cabinets: bath, marketplace, and kitchen plus.
>
> Each targets a different buyer and sales process. None sacrifices quality. Bertch controls the entire supply chain even making their own plywood. Their construction, painting and staining processes include extra steps to insure a gorgeous long-lasting cabinet. They are american made in state of the art facilities. I'm a builder/remodeler with premium clients and wouldn't use any other brand.

**Comment from Bertch Cabinet, LLC:**

> Thank you for the outstanding review! Great relationships with builders/remodelers like yourself are what Bertch thrives on. Thank you for choosing Bertch as your premium cabinetry supplier!
>
> Slight correction: Bertch does not manufacture our own plywood. We DO, however, make our own veneer, and veneer our plywood ourselves. Hope that helps!

**★★★★★ — Adams Construction, April 2025**

> As a contractor, I love Bertch cabinetry! Product selection, style, modifications, and quality is 5 star! Made in the USA!

**Comment from Bertch Cabinet, LLC:**

> Thank you for choosing Bertch, and for taking the time to leave a great review! Can't wait to work together on your next project!

**★★★★★ — HU-591193841, March 2025**

> We built a built a new home last summer and used Beetch exclusively. We absolutely love our Bertch kitchen and bath cabinets! They are even more beautiful than I had expected. The quality is so much better than most of the cabinets you can find on the market today. Plus, it’s a bonus that they are made in the Midwest. I would highly recommend Bertch for any future projects you might have!

**Comment from Bertch Cabinet, LLC:**

> Thank you for choosing Bertch for your home! We truly appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review, we are thrilled to know you had a great experience!

> In Jan. 2022, I remodeled 2 bathrooms with a local company in Phoenix and they used Bertch cabinets. I was not able to see the product beforehand, had to take the modeler's word (the catalyst that started this horrible journey). I am now 2.5 years in and they look like they are 10 years old. One vanity is cobalt blue and the other is dark expresso, and since they are dark, all the spots where the paint has worn off are very, very visible. The drawers stick for no reason, either not shutting all the way or not opening on the first pull.
>
> For the amount of money I was charged, I would have expected a much better quality of vanity than what I received. I could have gone custom and gotten a better product, not to mention cheaper. Won't buy Bertch again, and won't recommend it, or the company I used.

**Comment from Bertch Cabinet, LLC:**

> We are sorry you are not happy with you experience with Bertch. We pride ourselves on exceptional quality and customer service. Hopefully you were able to come to a solution with Bertch and your dealer. If not, please reach out to your original dealer, and we can all work together to come up with a solution for you.

> I’m very late posting this. We ordered a bathroom vanity. Within a month the paint was chipping off everywhere. The store replaced it but the installation was up to us. This exact vanity did the same thing only worse. We’ve had it for about five years and I’m constantly cleaning the floor of paint chips to this day.
> The cabinet looks ancient at this point.
> Needs to be replaced but never will this manufacturer.

**Comment from Bertch Cabinet, LLC:**

> Thank you for selecting Bertch cabinetry for your home and for taking the time to provide your feedback. We take great pride in our work and strive to provide exceptional customer care and service. We are sincerely sorry to hear about your recent experience with your Bertch cabinetry.
>
> We would truly like the opportunity to correct your concern. Hopefully we can all continue to work together to resolve your concerns. Again, we're truly sorry for the experience you've had.

> We ordered Bertch kitchen cabinets through a local dealer for our remodel. Most of the cabinets arrived in good condition, although there were a few issues. One drawer had a drawer glide screw sheared off (repaired by our contractor), another drawer had a split in the bottom panel (replaced), several upper cabinet shelf panels had defective veneer (replaced), the glass front upper was missing the spline needed to mount the glass (ordered by dealer), and last but not least by any means, one of the upper cabinets that was installed to the right of our sink, had a defect in the frame that wasn't apparent during installation but once seen could not be unseen. Bertch wanted to put an side panel over it that would have looked stupid, but we insisted it be replaced. They sent a replacement, however refuse to pay for the labor cost to dismount the defective cabinet, an mount the replacement, a process that also required the cabinet next to it to be taken down then re-installed.
> This required about 2-3 hours of time for two men that should not have been needed if Bertch actually had some quality control in their manufacturing process. Bertch says they don't reimburse for labor when a replacement is required, and in my opinion this is unreasonable for the consumer, who paid for a perfect product, to have to pay for extra labor when a manufacturer cannot provide the product they promise.

> We waited 12 wells for our vanity to come in. When we opened the box we found the side of the cabinet smashed in. The separate valance for the toe kick area was also damaged. We ended up using the cabinet with the damage concealed by another cabinet section and taking a credit on the purchase price. The valance was reordered three times and was damaged every time. After three months the distributor finally sent someone out to repair and install it. We are not likely to do future renovations as we are seniors but if we did we would never buy from them again.

**★★★★★ — Crockett Construction, April 2023**

> Bertch Cabinetry is a phenomenal company to work with, they have fantastic lead times and their customer service representatives are always extremely helpful and easy to work with. I could not recommend this company enough, their product is well made and looks absolutely beautiful! We use Bertch cabinetry in almost every project we do whether it be kitchens, bathrooms, basement, closets, etc. We cannot wait to continue to grow as a company with Bertch cabinetry helping us create beautiful spaces.

> 1\. My wife and I had painstakingly selected a Bertch bathroom vanity cabinet with a matching mirror from Aaron & Company at 638 Park Avenue in Freehold, New Jersey. We had to wait more than 5 weeks and it was first delivered on February 24th.
>
> 2\. Upon opening the box the vanity was seriously damaged inside. Both drawers were broken, the front panel connector brackets were broken, and there was a chip missing at the side bottom corner. The matching Bertch mirror was scratched in two places. The box it was shipped in was free of damage with the exception of some minor damage in one corner.
>
> 3\. Aron & Company reordered the vanity and the mirror for us on February 28, 2023, and had the damaged vanity and mirror picked up as a return from our home on March 7, 2023.
>
> 4\. The vanity and mirror that were reordered were delivered on April 4, 2023. This time it was worse. We opened the vanity with the delivery driver immediately. The entire side of the cabinet was cracked. The back of the cabinet was also cracked. There were two manufacturing errors. The front top panel was affixed way off center. One side had a gap and the other side was too far over. The rear back panel was only partially attached whereby the staples missed being attached to the frame. We did not accept delivery and the driver took the vanity and the mirror back.
>
> 5\. The vanity and the mirror are expensive items, and we expected quality. We have been without a bathroom vanity and sink now for three months. We have been seriously inconvenienced because of the poor product manufacturing and delivery conditions. We had to take make arrangement to be home for both deliveries and both times the plumbers had to be rescheduled. This has been a nightmare and is totally unacceptable.

> August 2024: it’s been 15 months since my last update. Any spot not completely insulated from touch has worn away and there are sections that look chewed up from hardware that hold it together… A decade of saving feels wasted. I managed to cover the nail pops so I don’t need a tetanus shot emptying the dishwasher. First world problems… save yourself the $$.
>
> Update: April 2023: I removed a star - I never was able to get a resolution from the company. And the cabinets are even worse not than my original review. I’m polishing the cabinets right now and I am so disappointed in these ‘higher end’ line of cabinets. I paid over my budget for them because I was promised that they were more durable. Varnish has worn off even more. Corners rarely touched are peeling/wearing, nail pops on the cabinets are scratching me I as polish them and are cracking along seems. I saved ten years to do my kitchen and the mounting frustration I feel is unbelievable. I should have purchased builder grade after all - I’d at least know what I purchased and saved the money.
>
> Original: Part of the the cabinets were the wrong shade. Once the cabinets were corrected within one day of installation they were gouged, scratched, water took off the staining.. had i know paying that paying for these cabinets would have been a waste of money I would have purchased builder grade because i could have the same Knicks, scratches and stains for a fraction of what I paid for these

**Comment from Bertch Cabinet, LLC:**

> Thank you for choosing Bertch cabinets for your home. Hopefully you were able to work your authorized Bertch dealer to find a solution for your issues. As for the stain coming off with water - that is a very strange occurrence, we haven't heard that issue before with a finished Bertch product. Have you been able to come to a resolution with these issues?

**★ — Becky Frantzen, Feb. 2022**

> HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE experience!! I’ve waited 10 years to remodel my kitchen and you’d think after spending $30K on brand new cabinets, they’d be quality but that has been far from the case! And it’s not just the quality…the customer service has been non-existent. If I could give them minus 5 stars I would.
>
> First - After waiting 12 weeks for them to arrive, 60% of the cabinets arrived with cracks, dents, chips, warped doors and tons of paint issues. They didn’t align properly and there were gaps between cabinets due to the edges not being straight. My contractor installed them bc the holidays were weeks away and he knew I needed a somewhat finished looking kitchen. My contractor was told replacements would be manufactured & shipped ASAP so they could be installed before Christmas.
>
> Well, needless to say SOME of replacement cabinets arrived the week before Christmas, and the replacement cabinets ALL had the exact same issues!! So obviously it’s a manufacturing issues, not random. After multiple requests to speak with a Bertch representative, one finally came out. He assured us that he would talk to his manager, and that the 3rd set would be perfect.
>
> Guess what?!? The 3rd replacement set arrived 6 weeks later and as my contractor was unpacking them, he noticed many of the same issues ~ cracks, dents, dings, finger marks & smudges in the paint finish, etc. I am appalled!! Obviously no one at the factory checked them (as I was promised would happen). Where’s the quality control?
>
> And the worse part…no one from Bertch has called me to apologize or offer any sort of solution. Shame on your Bertch!!
>
> Do not get Bertch cabinets!!

## Community Q&A

**Q: What brand is the tile backsplase** *(in Photo Questions)*

I want to have a multi blue subway tile backsplash

A: Great question! Here's the link the designer provided:
https://www.arizonatile.com/products/looks-like/subway/flash/

**Q: What is the vanity top here?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Is it available for an interlude 48" vanity? Do you have a picture?

A: Yes, that is an Interlude linen closet. An 18" Interlude linen will have a single door, not butt doors.

**Q: Identify cabinet color, counter top and tile colors & manufacturers** *(in Photo Questions)*

Beautiful kitchen .

A: Hi Beverly –
the lighter colored cabinets are Eggshell, the darker colored island is Ebony with a white glaze. Hope that helps!

**Q: Vanity color** *(in Photo Questions)*

Beautiful! Are the vanities in Lighthouse color?

A: Thanks! Actually, this master bath was ordered through our Kitchen+ division (door style: Savoy) and the color is a custom solid. That being said, this would probably be closer to Loft than Lighthouse.

**Q: can you tell me the door style please?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: That is our Portland door style! Thanks for your question!

**Q: Are these Bertch Cabinets? What color and glaze was used?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Yes, these are Bertch cabinets. They are our Bristol door style, in Birch/Oyster Bay
