> We had a serious accident which destroyed my kitchen which was a disaster. Chris Howard immediately worked on my reconstruction! He was such a great listener plus going into details explaining options as well as making changes! It was amazing that I didn’t replace but updated with many options and affordable ideas! My kitchen is now awesome and so homey! Thank you Chris Howard for being there and giving your professional, expert experience!

> Anderson & Rodgers was our general contractor for a whole house remodel. They listened to our dreams and shared some of their ideas and suggestions. Together we developed a plan that they saw it through to a timely completion. The staff are professional, easy to work with, and are always available. Their experience and insights made everything from initial planning to product selection easy. We especially like our kitchen. We were able to find cabinets and reclaimed wood to create the look we wanted. We love our "new" house and would absolutely recommend Anderson & Rodgers Construction.

**★★★★★ — Jeff Meade, June 2018**

> Teddy and his group are very detailed and thorough. I highly recommend Anderson & Rodgers to anyone looking for a top notch quality contractor. They say what they do and do what they say. Outstanding customer service!

**★★★★★ — James Fuller, Sept. 2017**

> Our home was built between February and June 2017 at a cost of $249,500. The project was completed exactly as quoted; on time and at cost. The quality of work was beyond all expectations. We expected to have at least some of the normal problems people complain about when building a home. We had NO problems. Supervision was on the site every time he said he would. The various trades where always on site on time and did excellent quality work. They included extras things at no cost to make life easier for me in a wheelchair such as a built in desk, extra light switches and an upper and lower clothes rod in my closet. If I ever need more work done I will use no one else.

**★★★★★ — Meredith Lane Ferguson, July 2017**

> We work in the real estate industry and know a lot of fabulous contractors in this area, but when we decided to renovate our garage into a carriage house for guests, we went with Anderson & Rodgers. Teddy Rodgers spearheaded the project and used top-quality subcontractors who were fast and efficient, while providing quality work. We can't say enough positive things about Anderson & Rodgers. Teddy answered the phone when we called, he delivered when he said he would and the final product is amazing. We are so happy with his work and would recommend him time and again to our friends and clients.

**★★★★ — Amanda Shih, April 2017**

> Our renovation with A&R affected every room of our farmhouse and was done in five months including installing an unexpected 30 ft I-beam, restoring and adding hardwood floors, removing a sunken living room, total kitchen overhaul and total master bathroom overhaul. We met Teddy once during our first consult and estimate. Michaela's designs helped us nail down specifics before demo began. Lars saw us through every step of the process with professionalism and excellent communication. He knew when to fight our battles with us and when to advise us to "let it go". There are things that came up that were unfortunate: it's a wonky 100 year old house, as it settles a wall here or there isn't totally flush, the budget grew as we discovered problems that needed to be fixed, and the whole renovation was just plain expensive (aka stressful). But we have realized these weren't problems with A&R as much as with any major renovation (it's not quite like on TV!). We had much more pros than cons with our experience with A&R and always recommend them to others (and will consider them for future projects).

**★★★★★ — John King, Jan. 2017**

> Our basement was remodeled by Anderson & Rodgers and we could not be happier. Work was completed right on schedule with no surprises on pricing. Overall just a great experience.

**★★★★★ — Jessica Mandt, Oct. 2016**

> I have worked with Anderson and Rodgers on several projects and am always impressed with their quality of work as well as attention to detail. The design staff always helps customers with appropriate design solutions that complement the overall look and feel of the home.

**★★★★★ — Christina Rioux, Oct. 2016**

> When it comes to your home you want it perfect and to be able to trust that your contractor can execute your wishes perfectly is key. I have had many contractors over time and no one compares to Anderson and Rodgers! They not only performed to very high expectations but they exceeded all of my dreams. My bathroom was done to perfection. Anderson and Rodgers were so professional during the entire process and their work is second to none. Our project manager was the epitome of excellence. Our designer is a creative genius and the entire crew was outstanding. You will not be disappointed if you choose Anderson and Rodgers for your next remodel or project. I plan to hire them for ALL of my future projects.

**★★★★ — Brooke Trusty, July 2016**

> After purchasing a 1960s dated ranch in a new town, our family elected to do a full first-floor remodel, which included updating two and half bathrooms, complete kitchen renovation and opening up the existing floor plan, as well as a master suite addition. We evaluated several floor plans and contractors over a six-month period, and ultimately chose Anderson & Rodgers. Our family lived in the finished basement during the project, and my husband worked from home, so it was imperative that we chose a dependable partner that worked with trusted subs and would get us back above ground in a timely fashion.
>
> Teddy was our main contact upfront. He was professional and thorough, and worked closely with us to determine the best plan to meet our living needs (family of four), and to keep us within a set budget. He was extremely responsive during initial planning when we had a lot of questions and made several in-person visits and calls. The one area of the project that drove some frustration was budgeting for the design elements. This was our first major renovation our family has undergone, and while the scope was outlined and agreed upon, there were still 'unforeseens' that resulted in gray area. Because we elected to do such an extensive remodel, there were a lot of selects that we had to make and submit back to A&R. The cost around these items were not always clear due to vendor discounts and markups, and it made it very challenging to keep within a budget, or know if we were keeping within budget at times. A&R is very detail oriented and did work to make sure all project elements were accounted for upfront, but we learned learned that, as the client, it's important to have a good understanding of what materials you are interested in and quantities you will need versus approving a lump sum for 'bathroom tile,' as an example. We learned to also make sure the specific details of products selected were clearly defined in the scope. It will take time to shop for all the materials, but worth it before agreeing on scope costs.
>
> Communication is key and A&R knows that, too. We received a weekly update email on what work was completed and what to expect for the week to come, which we found to be very helpful. During the project the site supervisor appointed to our job was also stellar. He and the team treated our project as if it were their own home project, and managed the sub-contractors flawlessly. Our site supervisor was at our home regularly, ensuring that the work was being completed to our standards and his-and if not, he would call workers back to correct. If there were issues on the back-end we were unaware most of the time. The subs that worked on our project were also great, hardworking and very talented. The tile in the kitchen and bathrooms turned out amazing, the plumber and electrician were top notch, the hardwood flooring, comprised of existing and some new hardwood, made the house shine, and the fresh paint and trim looks amazing. I could go on. :) Such great workmanship and pride.
>
> The team completed our project in under four months and every week we could see the progress. We have now been living in our home for a little over a month and love it. The master bathroom feels like an escape, the refinished hardwood floors are gorgeous and the kitchen inspires the non-cooker in me to want to cook. We love our new home. It's stunning.

**★★★★★ — gm8916, July 2016**

> Anderson and Rodgers installed a decorative glass front door, repaired the rotten wood around some of our windows and door frames, and painted the exterior of the house. All of the workmen were very professional and helpful. Teddy was especially helpful in finding a front door that would fit the irregular size of my door opening.

**★★★★★ — lvinky, June 2016**

> It is as much a pleasure to write a review of our remodel experience with Anderson and Rodgers as it was to work with them. We remodeled half of our existing ranch home space which included the remodel of all bathrooms, in addition to new construction including two new bedroom spaces and a covered front awning. Throughout the various phases of our project from planning and budgeting, to demo, construction, and finishing, our experience with Anderson and Rodgers was outstanding. They worked on our timeline and helped us to build a budget and scope consistent with our vision, our values, and our desired expense. Scott Nelson and Lars Lyman are examples of best practice in both their dealings with clients and their knowledge and execution of industry standards. They worked to accomplish our multitude of goals which involved a balance of maximizing the function of the spaces we had while adding as much character as possible. Those representing Anderson and Rodgers within their specific areas of trade and expertise were professional and trustworthy, with certain individuals, such as our framer, proving to be nothing short of exceptional. Our crews reliably worked full days to the amazement of our neighbors who regularly commented on their work ethic.
>
> Our four-month timeline AND our budget were both maintained and without pressure on us to hurry any decisions we were not ready to make. As with any project, hiccups occur. It would be unreasonable to think they wouldn’t in projects of this size. When the few did occur, Anderson and Rodgers handled them upfront, with urgency, and transparency. And now as we resolve two small conditions post-project, Anderson and Rodgers continues to address our concerns with the same priority as when our project was ongoing.
>
> There are certainly varying levels of service that you can seek, and with any service, you are likely to find competitive and compelling bids. However, I encourage anyone going through a remodel to consider the intangibles that will make a lasting difference in the scope of their project and the lasting outcome that is their home. It is a satisfying feeling to be on the other side of our project and to know what planning and craftsmanship went into it. Our renovation with Anderson and Rodgers now “lives” just as we had hoped.

**★★★★★ — seanlarkinky, March 2016**

> Very professional, straight shooting business. Get with them for a quote for your construction needs. You can't go wrong hiring Anderson & Rodgers.

**★★★★★ — danamed, Feb. 2016**

> I have worked with Anderson and Rodgers on various projects over the last 4 years. They removed and rebuilt a deck, helped remodel a kitchen, hung doors, hung drywall, did some attic repairs, etc. Their work is always excellent. They are the first contractor that I recommend when asked. They have always been extremely reliable, performed the services quickly and and for the agreed upon amount. I am one of their biggest fans!

**★★★★★ — Galus Realty, LLC, Jan. 2016**

> I have been working with Anderson & Rogers for many years. I have used them on several of our homes and am completely impressed with their craftsmanship, communication, and timeliness. I continue to use them and would highly recommend them to anyone.

**★★★★★ — Hager Cabinets Inc., Jan. 2016**

> We have worked with Anderson and Rogers Construction on several projects, and they have always been very professional to work with. Great communication from start to finish of the project and very good customer service.

**★★★★★ — AIC Roofing & Construction Inc, Jan. 2016**

> Our company has done more than 20 jobs for Anderson & Rodgers over the last couple of years, and they are a very professional organization. From a contractors' standpoint, they are always organized, professional and thorough in preparing the customer for the work to be performed. I am very cautious about referring other companies, but after experiencing their customer-centered approach, I began feeling comfortable enough to refer them to our customers who were in need of services we don't provide. Our customers have been so happy that I occasionally get calls from people I have referred to them thanking me for the introduction. Being able to trust your reputation to another contractor and know they will make a good impression means the world. Thank you for your outstanding service.

**★★★★★ — PRESTIGE GRANITE COUNTERTOPS, Jan. 2016**

> My name is Esther and I am a 73 year old widow.. I have had an on going water leak in the ceiling of my master bedroom. After spending several thousand dollar in an attempt to repair the leak (to no avail) Anderson and Rodgers was recommended to me. I am please to say they were efficient, timely, and successful... I wish I had known about them sooner, would have saved me some money. Thank you Teddy Rodgers

> James was our project manager. He did a great job ensuring the project was completed as agreed. The subcontractors Anderson & Rodgers work with are very good. This is my 3rd home remodel in 3 years, and they are one of the best contractors we've worked with. We had our master bathroom completely redone, painted 2,000 sq. ft. from the ceilings to the baseboards, removed large arches and posts in the living room, added crown molding to the kitchen, opened a wall area in the kitchen, reconfigured the bookshelves in the family room, wall papered two rooms and designed a new laundry room. James completed the actual design of the laundry room based on my wants/needs. I selected all of my paint colors and materials for the entire project. James managed most of the project while I was out of state. I would definitely hire them again. Great work!

> My wife and I have used Anderson & Rodgers Construction for several jobs over the last couple of years. We live in a house that was built in the 1930s, so there are plenty of things that need work! A&R has helped us with jobs that include the following: window replacement, basement remodeling, garage door replacement, house painting, caulking, room painting, and many other small house repairs. We usually work directly with Teddy Rodgers. He is super friendly, and always makes sure that we are 100% satisfied. A&R construction workers have always been professional. We plan to continue to use A&R Construction while we live in Lexington. We highly recommend them for any construction job!

**★★★★ — Jill Haas, Oct. 2015**

> Excellent ideas, easy to work with, exceptional communication. Project took a bit longer than the original estimate, but work was good quality. Would highly recommend this group for a remodel project!

**★★★★★ — jjatess, Oct. 2015**

> Great experience with Anderson and Rodgers. Great customer service at every level. They predicted that the renovation would take 5 weeks and they were true to their word. Professional teams from the estimate to planning the project to protecting my home for the project to all of the crews who performed all of the actual work. They also worked to stay within my budget. Communication was excellent with a supervisor named Lars who stayed on top of the project from start to final inspection. Larry and Jaime were an incredible team of professionals who were knowledgable in carpentry, plumbing, and electricity. Incredible artisans were acquired to complete tile, granite and hardwood floors. Rob and Jake were very accommodating to move furniture back in place and do finishing touches.

> When my clients call and ask for recommendations for home improvement projects be it big or small, I send them to Anderson & Rodgers. The complete overall to my clients 80+ yr old home was nothing short of spectacular, you could hardly recognize the place. Anderson & Rodgers does phenomenal work.

**★★★★★ — seekinghim03a, Oct. 2015**

> After interviewing several contractors, I chose Anderson & Rodgers because Teddy really seemed to understand the scope of what I wanted with my addition/remodel, and wasn't afraid of any aspect that might be involved. Teddy worked with me extensively to help me scale my project to fit my budget without compromising quality. The foreman, Lars, is a professional, personable asset to A & R for making sure every detail of the project is executed to satisfaction. As the project progressed, A & R was able to adjust to additional needs over and above my initial project. Every job has the “unexpected”, but A & R was able to work through any issue with a calm and professional demeanor, which meant a lot to me. It turned out to be a more extensive project than I intended it to be, but I am very happy with the results, and I love my beautiful new kitchen! Anderson and Rodgers is a trustworthy contracting company with high standards and a genuine desire for customer satisfaction.

**★★★★★ — Barry Phillips, Oct. 2015**

> Anderson & Rodgers provide their clients with professional and honest service and solutions for construction needs. I am in the real estate industry and rely heavily on them and their recommendations. They helped me with my son's house on UK campus and it sold to the first people that viewed it!! I highly recommend their services to anyone looking for remodeling, adding an addition or whatever improvements you need to for your home!!

**★★★★★ — Amzac Garage Doors Inc., Oct. 2015**

> We have been working with Anderson and Rodgers from day-one for their garage door needs. We also worked with Teddy for many years before Anderson & Rodgers and really grew to love his sincerity and genuine drive to perfection. We rarely have clients ask us for referrals, but we did refer one of our clients to Teddy for a garage-build and he called us back ecstatic about the professionalism and punctuality of the Anderson & Rodgers team. Working in the construction-industry you often find yourself hesitant to refer your long-term clients to other companies in fear that they will not receive the same professionalism you deliver yourself - but that is NOT the case with Anderson & Rodgers. I feel 100% confident that my clients will be in good hands when I send them their way.

> I worked with Teddy Rodgers on a building project and I was very pleased with his help during and after the project was completed. He was very professional and knowledgeable about the project. He was also very easy to work with.

> July 2015- Teddy Rogers and his team provided excellent and professional service for my rental property that had fire damage. Teddy was able to work with the tenants schedule along with getting the propert back up to living condition within just a few weeks when it could have taken longer - he understood the situation and worked with us and our insurance. He also did a remodel for my I laws and it looked great when completed. I'll be using him again

> I contacted Anderson & Rodgers to assist in getting my father's home ready to sell after his death. They were quick to schedule an appointment and Scott was the point man on the initial inspection. He was very professional and respectful of the condition of the home and assured me that he and his team would get the house up to spec. They repaired several issues including installing a new water heater, fixing roof leaks, and general repair of items found in poor condition prior to the sale of the home. The buyers were very relieved to find the home in such great shape and requested almost nothing to close on the property. They under promised and over delivered, and the price was extremely fair for the work performed. I attribute the quick sale to Scott and his team at Anderson & Rodgers and will use them again on future needs.

They respond prompt to questions and did great work. Very easy to work with and extremely transparent. I'd recommend them to anyone for residential or commercial remodels.

> I hired Anderson & Rodgers after interviewing five contractors. They met and exceeded my expectations. The price was fair. They communicated with me constantly and they finished every little detail with precision. I especially commend the project manager, Lars Lyman, who obviously takes pride in his work, and Larry, the master carpenter. They took a converted garage/family room with water damage and made a beautiful office and new family room. Look no further. Hire Anderson & Rodgers!

> I hired Teddy Rodgers to do a small job for my wife and I on our home in Nicholasville, KY....I knew he was busy, and I knew it was a small job...but I had heard that Anderson & Rogers did good work. In spite of being busy, Teddy wasn't too busy to do the job, to do it right, and to not make us feel like lepers for asking. I know we will be contacting Anderson & Rogers when our next BIG job comes up. Thank you. Teddy !

> I hired Anderson & Rodgers Construction for a complete master bathroom remodel. They came highly recommended from a friend who used them for their Kitchen. From the very beginning they met all my expectations. Teddy came out and did an estimate. He was very friendly and knowledgable. He helped us make some decision on design and how to stay within budget. The price they gave us was on point with exceptions of materials we choose to splurge on. Teddy informed us of how that would change the estimate.
> Before the project began we met with Lars our project manager. He was fantastic. We knew this job would take 5-6 weeks. Lars kept us informed as the project progressed. He was there almost everyday to check on things. Every worker he had at our home was friendly and very clean. Lars did a great job trouble shooting the one or two issues that came up. He made it clear that he worked for us and wanted to make sure we were happy. We our completly thrilled with our new master bath. I would hire Anderson & Rodgers Construction again for any remodeling project.

> Half bath remodel. Gutted and then all new flooring, lighting, vanity, etc. Scott Nelson did a wonderful job and I would hire him again in a second.

**★★★★★ — mattwalling, Jan. 2015**

> Anderson & Rodgers has not only done renovations but has also done several smaller jobs for me and both the big jobs and small jobs were done with care and detail. Many small jobs do not receive the same attention as bigger jobs. I was extremely please with the work and attention to detail. I have recommended Anderson & Rodgers to other clients and have always received a good review of their workmanship.

> Anderson and Rodgers does good work. I have been on many projects with them over the years. They do what they say they will do, in the time frame that the work is suppose to be done. Teddy is honest and will shoot it to you straight. They also do the work for a fair price. I have also used them on my own home.

> Anderson & Rodgers completed a full kitchen remodel in our home. They were professional and courteous from the very beginning. All members of their team were punctual and efficient with their time. The area was cleaned and decluttered every evening, which made living in the house throughout this process bearable. They were aware of my children and their safety at all times, which I appreciate greatly. I cannot say enough great things about this company. I would highly recommend!

**★★★★★ — marine11, Oct. 2014**

> Anderson & Rodgers recently completed a project involving remodeling my kitchen, dining room and 1/2 bath. They actually completed the 1/2 bath, taking over from a prior company that left work incomplete. Without reservation, I would highly recommend Anderson & Rodgers. Scott Nelson, (project manager) and his crew were professional, courteous, and eager to please. They submitted recommendations and suggestions that really added to the value of my family's project. Normally, they would arrive at 7:15 a.m. and leave at 5:15 p.m. to ensure a prompt completion of the job. They hired professional subcontractors that they have experience with and all were equally professional. The budget was adhered to and the only changes were at my request with a signed change-order.

The attention to detail and overall craftsmanship is superior. This company will make any project you have a worth-while journey! They truly care about their work and customer relationships.

> After consulting with a couple of different contractors, we hired Nelson Remodeling to do a complete remodel of our outdated master bathroom. Scott Nelson was a true professional from start to finish. He provided many helpful ideas that allowed us to get the most functionality out of a small space. We found him very easy to work with. The other members of the Nelson Remodeling crew were quite competent and personable as well.
>
> The project consisted of completely gutting the old bathroom, installing a new toilet, bathtub, and vanity, building a new closet, and a custom line drain shower. While all the work was of very high quality, the custom tile shower stands out as a highlight - the work of a true craftsman.
>
> The pricing is quite reasonable for the quality of work that you get. When you hire Nelson Remodeling you are hiring a crew that holds themselves to the highest standards and truly takes pride in their work product.
>
> I confidently recommend Nelson Remodeling for any bathroom remodel, especially any custom tile work.

**★★★★★ — captivablonde, Dec. 2012**

> The old adage that you get what you pay for is certainly true as regards Scott Nelson and his company. He works with your ideas, adds any he may have, designs and completes a beautiful project. He remodeled a bathroom for me and during demolition, ran into a plumbing issue. Instead of telling me that my project could not be completed as I envisioned, he worked out a solution that involved more work for him and little increase in budget for me. He suggested a different way to tile the floor of the shower then we originally planned. He then proceeded to cut tiles into strips to resemble hardwood flooring. Everyone who sees the result raves about it.
>
> He stands behind his work and will resolve any issues to your satisfaction. I would never consider hiring anyone else to do any remodeling in my home. I have currently hired Nelson Remodeling to convert a screened porch to a playroom.

**★★★★★ — wendyhead, Dec. 2012**

> I have worked with Scott on multiple projects. There is always good communication and follow through, which is why I keep hiring him! Top notch work and great creative eye too.
