We were looking for a certified kitchen planner to help us renovate a relatively small kitchen that had not been updated since the house was built in the mid '60's. The traffic pattern was inefficient and storage was inadequate. We tasked Jenny with designing a kitchen that had an efficient layout and expanded storage. This was a tall order in the existing space as we did not want to change the footprint of the house or lose any space in the adjoining rooms. Jenny did a magnificent job of creating a kitchen that was much more efficient and had significantly more storage space, and that was in keeping with the character of our home. Our new kitchen feels more spacious and is far easier to work in. We found Jenny very easy to work with and responsive to our requirements. We went through several iterations before we arrived at a final plan. A: Hi Tiffany. Well, because inset doors can get out of alignment easier than full overlay, and when they do, they rub on the face frame. This can cause chipping if the finish is not a really good baked on finish. But they are so beautiful, and stylish, that it is worth it. **Q: What style Yorktown cabinets are these?** *(in Photo Questions)* A: You know what? Upon close inspection, I realize that these are not Yorktowne cabinets, they are Medallions Platinum inset cabinets. Thanks** *(in Photo Questions)* Getting house ready to put house on market...Keep reading to use neutral colours on walls and white on trim and ceiling... These colours would be nice in my bathroom...Trying to figure out bedrooms, kitchen and living.. A: It is a Sherwin Williams color SW 7036. I usually use the same color on the ceiling but I have them do a 50% lighter version of the same color. Your paint store will know what that means. They use 50% of the same pigments.
