She listened to what we wanted and often took our ideas on board but made them so much better, creatively and practically. Initially, we thought she would just design and plan the layout/decor, but in the end she worked with the contractor, selected amazing color schemes, worked with the painters, blind installers etc. I had remodeled another house before, which is why I went looking for a designer this time. She also saved us thousands of dollars in goods and services - window treatments, floors and furniture from vendors she has connections with. This also saved us hours on research and shopping and we got top of the line materials for far less than sticker price. Please share info about duvet cover and bed frame/ headboard. Thanks!!! A: Duvet cover was from Macy a few years ago so they probably no longer have it, and bed frame is from West Elm, they still have it. **Q: where is the dining room furniture from?** *(in Photo Questions)* A: I do not think Crate and Barrel sells this set any longer. **Q: What color stain is the rafters? What was used & color for ceiling?** *(in Photo Questions)* A: Sorry, I did not keep a record of what I used, I remember the beam stain was a custom mix. **Q: Shelves** *(in Photo Questions)* Love them? A: HI, these were custom made out of MDF and painted. There are several sites that sell a similar type if you put cantilevered shelf' cut they will not be as long as these are. **Q: I love this** *(in Photo Questions)* should i paint my room this color?
