> We hired Mark and his company to help us with the design and installation of the landscape at our home. I am so happy with the results. He took what was a boring front yard and created a beautiful combination of color and structure that I love coming home to every day. He and his crew were very professional and courteous and I really liked that he got back to me with all of my concerns and questions in a timely manner. He presented the design/plan and it was clear he had listened to our concerns. He addressed our likes and dislikes about what the end product would look like and we love the end result. I would definitely recommend him and have to friends.

> I saw a project in our neighborhood, and met Mark and his crew. What started as a french drain and dirt removal project blossomed into much, much more. I have such respect for Mark and his crew...Santos, Armando, Timeto, and Samuel. Every day the site was cleaned and washed off, materials and tools put away, which resulted in minimun disruption for our day to day house life. The work was imaginative, functional, and works completely as advertised. We are doing a future project this winter, and am totally confident of the results. Would recommend this company to any of my friends.

> We love the stone work done. We were NOT happy with the quality of the plants chosen at the beginning of the project, but Mark did come back and replant (even with some extra plants), re-mulched and reworked the irrigation system.
>
> We did have nutsedge problems in the soil delivered, but Mark has replenished our spray supply with a quality sprayer and chemical.
>
> A suggestions for others: it would be helpful to have a "care" sheet. What needs fertilizing when and with what; what needs pruning when.....etc.
>
> We also have never received a final "as planted" blueprint, which Mark said he would deliver, nor was there a "care sheet" given us regarding any, plant care, fertilizing or general upkeep, etc.

> Mark and the Pearson Landscape crew did an amazing job on our very difficult project. We had drainage issues on our sloped lot that had caused flooding into our house when it rained. The other companies we got bids from all suggested band-aid, temporary, or extremely unattractive options (one guy wanted to put up a curb around our entire house that we would have to step over every time we entered or exited our home). Mark came up with a solution that is both functional and absolutely beautiful. We have had a very rainy past few months and the drains (which are all completely invisible) have worked perfectly! His design also provided us with access to the back half of our lot that had previously been unused and blocked off, so now we can enjoy the natural beauty of the hills and trees that make our area unique. Most people saw only the hardships posed by our rocky, hilly back yard but Mark took the challenge and gave us amazing results! Most importantly, he was reliable and communicated with us through each step of the process.
>
> Our project included landscaping, hardscaping, stone work, woodwork, ironwork, steps, walls, drains, a covered patio, a grilling island, a pool redo, lighting, irrigation, and probably other stuff that I don't even know about. I would recommend Pearson Landscape for all of it!

> We hired Mark to do an overhaul of our front yard, which (prior to now) was a desolate collection of sad and overgrown brush, with no structure or charm. He put together a design involving both landscaping and hardscaping. We are absolutely thrilled with the result. Mark knows what he is doing; he is intimately familiar with what will work both in Austin and in the particular spot in which you are planting. Many times we would say, "How about \_\_\_\_ over here?" and he would tell us the area was too shady, too sunny, to sandy, etc. We are so glad he was able to guide us, as 99% of everything planted is thriving almost two years later. He is also very passionate about his job, and fun to work with. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him for any project: the more challenging the better!

> I called Pearson Landscape Services to solve a technical drainage problem, and got so much more. Mark and his excellent crew transformed the narrow strip of land next to our house into a beautiful rock creek bed that spilled out and replaced the sun-baked, weedy side of our front yard with a thoughtful selection of plants, boulders and gravel. The creek meanders through to the street and worked to perfection during the recent thunderstorms. The care they took selecting and placing the different landscape elements is what really sets them apart from the typical landscaping company. The crew was wonderful to work with – technically, aesthetically and professionally, it does not get any better than these guys.

**★★★★★ — CG&S Design-Build, Feb. 2013**

> CG&S Design-Build has worked with Pearson Landscape Services on many occasions over the last several years. Mark Biechler has worked in various capacities for us including planting design, providing complete design/installation services and installing our own designs. We've found that he is a great collaborator, offering creative and practical solutions--especially offering solutions that help us to work within a given budget. They work hard to meet construction schedules. They can do irrigation design in house--which is very helpful when one wants to group plantings with related water needs, and when one needs to work within a budget. Their associated company, Aquatic Features, Inc., also has built great water features for our clients. We would readily recommend Pearson Landscape.

> We had an awesome experience with Pearson landscape service. After receiving several bids on our project we decided on Pearson's for the folowing reasons: the bid along with a design plan was done in a timely fashion, all of our concerns and desires were taken into account, and the cost was within our budget. They were able to complete the project while we were out of town and Mark sent us pictures day by day. Our housesitter was amazed by their efficiency despite the rainstorm that came during the project. We love the landscaping and are in the final planning stages with another project.

> We are so happy with our landscaping -- Pearson was the perfect choice, very professional and meticulous about their work. We've received many compliments and are about to embark on another project with them. Highly, highly recommend!

> Pearson Landscape Services does amazing design and meticulous installations. They are very professional and detail oriented, both qualities that make the client happy. I am fortunate to be have been involved on projects in which they too are working on site. They have been very accommodating to my requirements and are sensitive to time and budget.
