The initial bid to paint a small condo was lower than most other companies but they had hidden costs that added up to a lot more than expected (ex: limited number of doors!!). Also, to justify their cost, the owner purposely over-estimates the time required to do the job (ex: 3.5 days) when it can actually be done in half that time (ex: it was done in less than 1.5 days). Upon first inspection, the work seems ok/average but after a closer look, only 1 coat was done under bulkheads, some receptacles were painted over or not painted close enough to allow the plates to cover the unpainted portion, some spots were clearly missed on the walls during the 2nd coat and the ceiling was left with many spots of coloured paint from the wall.
