> We had an existing theater with fabric walls, and decided to have some acoustic posters 'embedded' in the existing fabric.
>
> Fortunately, we were referred to VE Thoman!
>
> Let me say their attention to detail was impressive. They spent all day on 3 posters to get them perfectly integrated.
>
> The newly installed posters look like they've been framed into the wall and it really completes the look of our theater.
>
> If you're looking for somebody who truly cares about the final product of anything fabric-wall related, then I highly recommend VE Thoman!

> Enjoy your beautiful renovated bathroom! And Thank you for your kind hospitality.

**★★★★★ — Leigh Chiu Designs, July 2020**

> The process in which Thoman upholsters walls is very special. Cording is not needed to hide corner seams as they use a technique unknown in the design industry standards where the fabric is tucked inside channels. It is simply amazing and so gorgeous. I recently had my powder room walls upholstered in a glen plaid wool where lines are always hard to keep straight.. My room is perfect and I could not be happier. I wholeheartedly recommend them without question.

> Eric and Veronique are an absolute pleasure to work with. I have used them for two projects in Wisconsin. They're willing to travel and make things that seem slightly 'impossible' happen with ease and on schedule. They are expert craftsmen in their industry, meticulous down to every detail, with a vast portfolio of beautiful work.

**Comment from V.E. THOMAN:**

> Thank you! We enjoyed working with Kelsie of Haven Interiors. She was on top of her two projects and provided all information or help needed quickly throughout the entire process. She has a keen eye for design and we will be happy to work with her in the future.

**★★★★★ — Michael Guerriero, Sept. 2019**

> I had the opportunity to work with Véronique on a project in Northwest Colorado. We had designed a walnut wood and linen wall paneling concept for my office but could not find any local resources with the necessary experience to support the project. I found Véronique online and she immediately engaged in supporting the architectural and construction teams. Véronique then traveled from Texas to Colorado to complete the installation over two days. Her work is impressive. We could not have achieved such results without her involvement in the project. Happy to use her again anytime.

**★★★★★ — Norma Glass, Oct. 2018**

> We had a problem art glass wall in our living room that kept on shifting resulting in cracking of the plaster. Many redo's & re-plasterings later & brainstorming w the Contractor & Architect did not result in a satisfactory resolution of the problem. We contacted V.E. Thoman. Veronique & Eric were a pleasure to work with from start to finish, outstanding workmanship & professionalism, I think we may have solved the issue of the problematic wall!!

**Comment from V.E. THOMAN:**

> Thank you for trusting our company .
> It was a fun project with a good challenge. We are sure you will not miss your cracks on the wall.
> Thank you for the warm welcoming in your home, it was our pleasure working for you.
> All the best.

**Comment from V.E. THOMAN:**

**★★★★★ — Nicola Hasan, Aug. 2017**

> Our design firm, Abode, hired V.E. Thoman to upholster the walls in a dining/media room and they did a BEAUTIFUL job. Our project involved applying a white silk fabric to the walls without using any trim to hide the seams, and they were meticulous in their work. They are also some of the nicest people I've met in this industry, which made it a pleasure to work with them. I will honestly be pushing for more wall upholstery in our upcoming projects so that I have the opportunity to work with them again.

**Comment from V.E. THOMAN:**

> Thank you very much! We are looking forwards to working with Abode in future including yourself. You are also awesome to work with.

**★★★★★ — brad392, Dec. 2015**

> VE Thoman installed wall upholstery at a residence in Aspen. The craftsmanship was impeccable and they were a pleasure to work with. They helped pre-plan and coordinate details with the contractor that saved a lot of headaches in the end. I would recommend them to anyone looking for high-end wall upholstery.

**★★★★★ — Paula Ables Interiors, May 2015**

> We had the pleasure of working with V.E. Thoman last fall to provide a client with a unique upholstered double door leading into his media room that we remodeled with a 1920's glam theme. Veronique and Eric were helpful throughout the process and worked based off the design we gave them. They were very professional and meticulous when it came to the installation of the final product. We look forward to working with them again in the future.

**★★★★★ — Nancy Bulhon, May 2015**

> V.E. Thoman's wall upholstery system is unique and superior to traditional wall upholstery methods. Their system can be applied around any surrounding architectural elements and the end product is perfectly tailored to the walls without the use of traditional welt cording or trims. Their wall upholstery system provides not only sound abatement features for Media Rooms but also a luxurious and elegant wall finish for any area of the home or office. Eric and Veronique are great problem solvers and always pleasant and professional to work with.

**Comment from V.E. THOMAN:**

> I am really happy that you like our clean edge system and enjoy all its advantages. Thank you Nancy, it is a pleasure working with you.

## Community Q&A

**Q: useless space need help** *(in Home Decorating)*

Painting my upstairs hallway and need ideas on what to do with this space. Approximately 4 x 8
Please help

A: YES, a series of bookshelves is a good idea but fixed them to the wall as they will take less floor space.
Add a narrow console in front of window with a side lamp as you have a wall outlet below the window.
Add some window treatment like a single drapery full length to the floor with a tie-back. Drape it and keep it loosely tied to the left of the window to keep some light. The width of the track or pole should be the same width as the landing. Get a light fabric if you want to keep the view of the trees like an organza for example. The color can be anything from a pattern for fun and or plain, whatever atmosphere you wish to create.
Add a comfortable reading armchair or wing chair.
For the floor add a long rectangular carpet.
If you could hang pictures on the left side of the window over the staircase.
Have fun!

**Q: are my curtains too short?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I had my curtains hung and its about 1.5 inches above the ground. I know its supposed to be about 1/2 inch above the ground typically but does this look totally ridiculous?

A: Yes, ideally they should be just off the floor only by the thickness of a finger.

**Q: window treatment for powder room** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Mulling about window treatment. People have a clear shot into our powder room, we live on a very quiet street though. I’m thinking about doing plantation shutters or wooden shades.

Any suggestions?

I am getting new treatments for all of the windows in the front of our house so I’d like to have a same look (windows are very symmetrical).

A: The bottom half of the window needs blocking. Plantation shutters below and a nice sheer roman blind above. Or even a fixed ballon blind, pick up some of the colors from the wallpaper.

**Q: Fireplace is in middle of room. What to do with the huge blank wall of** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Should I paint the back side of fireplace with an accent color, if so, what color? My painter said I should paint it a really dark color to make it stand out. The room around the fireplace ended up much darker than the paint swatch for SW Believable Buff. It ended up a little too gold looking but I really can’t afford to have the painter repaint it all. The back of the fireplace is the first thing you see when you enter the house. Would a sea grass wallpaper be a good texture to put on that wall instead of paint or some kind of other texture material?

A: Hi,
Why don't you have the wall upholstered in a fabric? Make a statement, like an art wall. There are beautiful contemporary fabrics with all kinds of fun design.

**Q: POLL: Which couch would be the best for this space?** *(in Polls)*

OPTIONS: (click to view)

1\. Leather Sofa
2\. Sectional in Dolphin Blue
3\. Winter White Leather Sofa

A: Heather, yes the fabric sofa is fun for this space. May be you can add a footstool in a solid color, the same as the bookcase or lampshade.

**Q: What is the application on the walls? Looking for wall acoustics** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: It looks like wall upholstery. It is a good option for sound abatement in a bedroom. But you need some good padding.
