> Carina helped us to completely redesign our exterior space - this involved completely redoing the front yard/stairway/driveway, the side yard, and converting the backyard from hardscape to softscape (to make it family-friendly). She came to us with great ideas that fit our lifestyle (at this stage of our lives, we need low-maintenance landscaping), including some really surprising ideas (such as a new-construction outdoor dining space, which we're thrilled to have). You paid for a garden consultation directly through a nursery. The parameters of the consultation are set by the nursery not Carina Cassidy Design. There were numerous emails back and forth answering your many questions after the consultation and additional options were provided both by myself and the nursery. Ultimately it seems that the consultation and additional options provided did not meet your expectations which is unfortunate.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Type of trees** *(in Photo Questions)*

Are you able to confirm the type of trees used along the fence line?  Beautiful creative layout.

A: Hi thanks it is a terrific layout designed to deal with a very wet backyard. The trees are Frans Fontaine hornbeams. Terrific for tight or open spaces, they prune beautifully and can be shaped easily. These will be pleached as they mature creating a gorgeous pruned hedge.
