While we have mostly loved it, the last while we recently learned that the trees that he planted in our yard are HUGE sycamore trees and we’re now having to get these trees removed because they are not supposed to be in such a small place. One of the trees is over our back patio and it’s grown so big. We love the shade it provides but we’ve already had to have some of our patio redone because the tree was lifting it. We’re taking it out so it doesn’t ruin our house foundation. There’s another one of the same tree on the side of our house and again, we’re removing it to prevent damage to our home. When we hired Platinum we felt like they would know what trees would be suitable for our space and now we’ve learned that was not the case. We have otherwise loved our yard for 10 years but having to remove these trees is a huge disappointment. I tried for years to get Rick to take responsibility for the work on our wall and these are a few of Rick's final words to me: "We had a structural wall engineer evaluate the wall and counter to what you and your engineer are claiming, the wall was designed and installed properly. The issue that you are talking about is primarily cosmetic" > > After several years of waiting and begging to get the wall repaired properly--as it significantly impacts our home's curb appeal value--Platinum made an attempt to try and repair it by putting an unsightly drain on the top of the lawn--instead of the proper drainage below the wall; and routed out all the cracks just to install the incorrect caulking material in those cracks. I had to spend several thousand dollars to hire an engineer to evaluate the wall. The engineer concluded that the installation was not done correctly, which resulted in all the cracking that is evident in the photos.
