We used Houzz to research design ideas and saved several pictures from homes H.I.S. Builder had posted. Much to our delight they were located in the vicinity of our hometown. With the assistance of his architect, Lynn was able to create a design that met all of our needs, which included an open concept with plenty of personal space while retaining the original characteristics of the home. Since we were living out of state during the construction phase, we utililized online tools to help keep tabs on the project and the lines of communication open. Weekly phone conversations were necessary to help manage cost expectations and make timely decisions. Do they fade over time? Maintenance requirements? Who manufactures these? A: The aluminum spindles have a powder coated paint finish and are very durable and maintainance free. Have not experienced any fade and only maintainance would be to occasionally wash as you would any exterior metal surface. This product is made by Deckorail and can be seen at www.deckorail.com. Very good choice for deck areas where you want to maximize your visibility while enjoying your deck. **Q: What are the dimensions of this shower?** *(in Photo Questions)* We would like to put a small shower into our 5x6 foot bathroom. A: Corner shelf is bluestone, same as flooring. Owner selected fixtures through buying club, not sure of model.
