Chris takes attention to detail and high quality craftsmanship to the next level. He has been in the business for many, many years and every house he has built in our area (of Monmouth County NJ) stands out. We had our own sketches and ideas of the type of home we wanted. Chris referred us to an architect who was able to put our ideas into blueprints - including all the necessary engineered details required by FEMA building codes for a structure within a flood plain. His regular sub-contractors were very qualified, professional, efficient and easy to work with as the project kept going. All phases of the construction were completed according to schedule without any additional expenses. My husband, a carpenter himself, did a lot of the interior work and Chris was on the jobsite daily to mange the work in progress. Chris and his crew even made suggestions for rooms and window details that made the home even more appealing and structurally sound. There were never any surprises or delays. Peak Construction is recognized as a high end custom home builder, yet there are smaller homes recently built by Peak Construction (post Sandy) with Chris giving each home his undivided attention. Every home has an extra something that lets you know it was quality work and aesthetically pleasing. The opening had to be enlarged, carpentry, painting and tile work done inside and out. Cost $4200. We were very impressed with Chris and his whole team. They were punctual. Kept the worksite clean and tidy, and were professional at all times.
