The scope of the remodeling consisted of removing one weight bearing wall, construction of a new kitchen, construction of 2 new bathrooms, removal of chimney, and improvement of main entrance. Linder did an excellent job on our project. He is never late on the milestones and his regular meeting kept my husband and I on schedule. He came to every meeting with well-prepared drawings, so my husband and I had good visuals to quickly making decisions. Linder is detail and very thorough. To make sure that he has all the drawing correctly done, he spent times in our attic and crawl space to make measurement and examine the details of our roof and foundation at length. I was impressed that Linder took his time in these two areas to get the job done correctly since attic and crawl space are not the most comfortable locations. Most other architects perfer to minimize these areas. > > For our kitchen, Linder took time to design the cabinet layouts carefully considering every day usage. The details are so well thought out that we have our cabinet makers make the cabinets exactly as drawn by Linder. It is working really well and we enjoy our kitchen very much. > > For the entire project, we liked and trusted Linder's plan so much that when we signed the contract with our contractor, we request the contractor to put "build per plan" in the contract. Since these shoji screens aren't opened and closed daily, the homeowner didn't want a guide track at the floor. **Q: where did you get the lights on the wall?** *(in Photo Questions)* Are the arms movable to different positions? A: Thank you for your question. It has been several years since I selected this light fixture and I don't recall the manufacturer. The arms are fixed, not adjustable. My client enjoys flowers and she loved this light fixture, it reminds her of red tulips. **Q: What kind of glass is in these doors?** *(in Photo Questions)* I can't quite make out the detail of the pattern, but it looks very cool! A: Thank you for your question. The glass is clear tempered. There is an aluminum overlay design attached to the exterior side of the door, the pattern that you are seeing. **Q: Floating glass desk top** *(in Photo Questions)* How did you achieve the floating glass desk?
