> Epiphany studios created the perfect piece for my living room. The artist/owner listened to exactly what we wanted and how we wanted it to speak to the space. A beautiful studio and it always feels good to support local professional artists.

**★★★★★ — aimeel123, Sept. 2013**

> April Wagner and her crew are some of the best I've worked with. In addition to April's beautiful one of a kind pieces, she has the ability to translate a client's vision and needs into something they had probably had not originally envisioned; resulting in an exceptional, bespoke, work of art.
>
> From consultation to installation, Epiphany Glass was a pleasure to work with.

**★★★★★ — Mary Griffin, Sept. 2013**

> We have worked with April Wagner, epiphany glass studios on several projects. Sometimes the relationship between an artist and interior designer can be difficult - but working with April was an outstanding experience. April was extremely professional, and listened to my concepts as well as the homeowners. The projects were completed on time and on budget and most importantly were absolutely stunning. We will continue to work with April

> April's work is stunning. From the smaller, intricate pieces like her line of custom flowers, or decanters or one-of-a-kind tabletop sculptures to the full-scale bespoke installations comprised of hundreds of pieces of delicately woven glass. It is a marvel to view in every way. I have had the good fortune of being able to buy some of the smaller pieces and see, in situ, many of the larger installations - full-scale wall pieces for private and corporate customers, custom chandeliers - all amazing. And epiphany is a joy to work with as well - very friendly, April and her staff make the experience so easy and pleasant. Highly recommended.

**★★★★★ — 1art, July 2013**

> Beyond April's many artist talents, she is a conscientious, customer service driven business lady. Her art will enhance any environment, be it your home or business!
>
> I have work on may corporate commisions with April and evey customer was satified.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Pumpkin** *(in Product Questions)*

Great! Do you have any other pumpkins, acorns, or gourds?

A: We don't habe gourds or acorns but we do have other sizes and colors of pumkpins. If you are interested in hearing about hose you would have to call the studio for more information. 248-745-3786 and ask for Mary.

**Q: Pumpkin** *(in Product Questions)*

Could you please tell me where this pumpkin is manufactured?

A: The pumpkins are each hand-blown at our hot glass studio, epiphany, in Pontiac, MI about 45 minutes north of Detroit.

**Q: How can a get it? How much is it?** *(in Photo Questions)*

How can a get it? How much is it?

A: This is my piece, custom-commissioned for a private residence. If you're interested in commissioning a similar piece, please call our studio, epiphany glass, at 248-745-3786! Thanks!

**Q: Repainting my kitchen white** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I have decided to paint my kitchen cabinets white. The walls are already white, but I don't have the exact color from the previous owner. Would it look okay to paint the entire kitchen - cabinets and walls- the same white? Should I vary the shades slightly to add a little definition? What about the trim around windows and doorways? Also, if you have a favorite Benjamin Moore white, let me know! Thank you!

A: I agree with Debbi Washburn - all white can look very chic and open up a small space to seem bright and inviting. I would, however, caution against using different shades of white as well.
An all white kitchen begs for a pop of color here and there, so think about what you want your palette to be, and pick a few pieces of art to enliven the space. Try something sculptural for an extra kick of excitement.

**Q: Home office needs help** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I hope you all can look past the chaos and mess in this room to help me see it's potential. I just bought this Ikea black brown desk last night to match the filing cabinet we already had. We need storage and organization. Would love to keep the desk view out a window. Also considering painting the shelves on the bookcase a dark stain or even covering them with fabric. I need window treatments and some art on the walls. Love blues and greens. Please send along tips on layout and organizational tips and accessories! So grateful!

A: I think an office space is a great opportunity to put together a little gallery wall space. Find 5-7 small pieces of art or hang-able objects. These could be photos, small prints, or even a tiny shelf with a decorative object on it. Since you don't have a huge wall space to work with, this will enliven the space and allow you to put up some of your favorite visual art. Just remember not to let it get out of control - try taping a square/rectangle of masking tape and place the objects just within that space.

**Q: Artistic(ish) Insight?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Here is how I decided to place things in our entry hallway in the new condo. That big ass cabinet on the left was a mis-order meaning they sent me the wrong item (actual one is pictured below) and returning that monument meant repackaging and it was a task far too impossible so with a satisfying discount here it remains.

So I was wanted to paint it and make it look more like the item I had ordered but am too nervous about messing it up and having to live with an even bigger mistake. Could you give advice on what or how to change the look of this cabinet or if I should just leave it be.

Thank you X 110989754 :)

xo

Pic info: last photo is the cabinet I ordered and middle photo is what I received.

A: I agree with decoenthusiast... you probably don't need both cabinets in an entryway - it feels a little much, especially since both pieces are bulky. Are you hoping for a more distressed look on the cabinet? You might try sanding down the paint that's already on there to see if you get your desired look. If you want to change the color, I would repaint with a watered down wash of paint - it won't look so flat that way.
